Prep Redzone take its first look at some of the Class of 2025 stock riser prospects in Maryland. Some of these prospects came into high school already with a name for themselves. Others have been able to get some time on the field as freshman and so we want to also recognize them as well. If you have a 2025 Maryland prospect that has made some noise at the varsity, JV, or freshman level, shoot us an email at allstateprepsfb@gmail.com at the end of the season with the player's final highlight video for the season.
[player_tooltip player_id="218619" first="Aaron" last="Lewis"] | 6-1 | 184 | Rock Creek Christian | Wide Receiver
Lewis has an offer from Boston College. He's a freshman that's playing on the varsity level. Based on his highlights, Lewis is lined a lot in the slot position. Lewis is still raw when it comes to running routes but he's able to find openings in the defense.
[player_tooltip player_id="218620" first="Ben" last="Chandler"] | 5-9 | 160 | Bishop McNamara | Safety
Chandler has an offer from Maryland.
[player_tooltip player_id="218618" first="Blake" last="Woodby"] | 5-10 | 153 | St. Frances | Cornerback
Woodby has offers from Boston College, Maryland, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Virginia Tech.
[player_tooltip player_id="218621" first="Carlton" last="Smith"] | 6-1 | 183 | St. Frances | Linebacker
Smith has offers from Boston College and Maryland.
[player_tooltip player_id="218622" first="Jayvon" last="McFadden"] | 6-5 | 315 | St. John's College | Offensive Tackle
McFadden has offers from Maryland and Ole Miss.
[player_tooltip player_id="218623" first="Jeff" last="Exinor"] | 6-3 | 205 | McDonogh | Defensive Lineman
Exinor has an offer from Penn State.
[player_tooltip player_id="218624" first="Kamden" last="Laudenslager"] | 6-3 | 210 | McDonogh | Linebacker
Laudenslager has an offer from Boston College.
[player_tooltip player_id="218625" first="Kevyn" last="Humes"] | 5-10 | 160 | St. Frances | Cornerback
Humes has offers from Boston College, Maryland, South Carolina, and Virginia Tech.
[player_tooltip player_id="218626" first="Nathaniel" last="Owusu-Boateng"] | 6-2 | 205 | DeMatha | Linebacker
Owusu-Boateng has offers from Boston College, Maryland, and Pittsburgh. He's listed as a linebacker but he's more of an edge defender for his team. Owusu-Boateng has natural instintcs and awareness of a playmaker. Plays with leverage and bend around the edge. He wins at the point of attack.
[player_tooltip player_id="218627" first="Peyton" last="Nelson"] | 5-11 | 185 | Good Counsel | Running Back
Nelson has an offer from Boston College. I expect his offer-count to climb to the double-digit level within the next year. He's gone against the toughest competition in the DMV area and you can't help but get excited about his future. Nelson has an uncanny knack of running inside, seeing traffic, and then darting to the outside to make something (touchdowns in the redzone) out of nothing. He accelerates off the ball with noticeable speed and all if he sees an open crease in the line, he's shooting right through it. He has rate feel and vision in tight quarters as an interior runner. Nelson is going to be special.
[player_tooltip player_id="1085689" first="Tomir" last="Bransford"] | 5-11 | 180 | St. Frances | Running Back
Bransford has an offer from UMass.
