DeAngello Conquest DeAngello Conquest 6'4" | 190 lbs | QB Overbrook | 2024 State NJ , So., Overbrook HS
DeAngello has already thrown for 393 yards in wins over Clayton and Princeton this season, completing 27 of 45 passes for 3 touchdowns. Already standing at 6’3, he should be drawing attention from scouts soon with his frame and production at such a young age. DeAngello is the #1 QB in the state according to the ’24 PrepRedzone QB Rankings.
Robert Long Robert Long 6'1" | 200 lbs | QB St. Peter's Prep | 2023 State NJ , Jr., St. Peter’s Catholic
Considering the level of team St. Peter’s plays week in and week out, we’re excited to see how Robert does the rest of the season. He shows great patience, going through his progressions and delivering the ball accurately to the tune of 17 for 24, 4 touchdowns and an exceptional 135.4 passer rating. Robert is the #2 QB in the ’23 Prepredzone QB Rankings and is already committed to Maryland.
Corey Petruzzella, Jr., Paramus HS
Corey has done in one game more than most players could do in two, going 19 of 32 for 284 yds and 2 TD’s. If that weren’t enough, he also carried the ball 22 times for 104 yards and 3 TD’s in a 35-41 Loss to Northern Valley-Demarest HS. Corey has a quick release and is very effective on designed rollouts and scrambles as he is a legitimate threat to run.
Luke Henrich, Jr., St. Josephs Regional (Montvale)
Luke exhibits a very quick release and great accuracy on out routes, which will be pivotal to winning games late with St. Joe’s challenging schedule this year. On the season, he’s 23/37 for 269 yrs and 3 TD’s though 2 games. Luke and the Green Knights will have a big challenge on their hands Saturday against DePaul Catholic and 3 star CB, A’Khoury Lyde A’Khoury Lyde 5'10" | 170 lbs | DB DePaul Catholic | 2022 State NJ .
Alex Scheuplein, Jr., Wayne Valley HS
Alex’s athleticism is front and center, displaying great accuracy on roll outs for 193 passing yards and already rushed for 43 yards this season. This young man is a true jack of all trades as he also leads the state in punt yardage with 234, is 5/5 on PATs and has a KO average of 46.7 yards. He may also be selling hotdogs and 50/50 tickets.
Connor Leary, So., Highland Regional HS
The Learys may be the first family of South Jersey Quarterbacks, and Connor is already doing great service to the name. He is 12 of 16 for 220 yds and two touchdowns with an impressive 111.5 passer rating, which is top 25 among underclassmen.
