Fruitport
’24 G Richard Wiggins IV – Wiggins shined in what was at times an abysmal performance for the Fruitport offensive line. In my notes, I had Wiggins winning every single block I saw him make except for 1. As a sophomore, Wiggins played very impressively against a Cadillac defense that brought consistent pressure. Very nice hands, pad level, and leverage from Wiggins. I’m excited to see how he develops in the coming years.
’22 QB Gavin Reames Gavin Reames 6'0" | 170 lbs | QB Fruitport | 2022 MI – His stats aren’t going to jump out as anything incredible, as he threw for 2 TD’s, 1 INT, and was sacked multiple times. Though what I can say about Reames is he was still an absolute standout with the talent he has. When he was given time, he read the defense presnap, stayed calm in the pocket, and was able to deliver some insanely accurate balls with plenty of zip. I wondered if Reames lived up to the hype, and after seeing him in person I can safely say he does.

Cadillac
’22 QB Aden Gurden – Being a quarterback for a Veer offense is much different from a spread offense, and Gurden fits the veer well. Gurden ran hard, constantly chipping away and wearing down the Fruitport defense. He also completed a nice screen that went for 22 yards and made good veer reads that led to a big win.
’23 RB Chris Reinhold Jr. – Reinhold had a sensational game on both sides of the ball this week. He made the most of all of his carries and racked up a ton of yards with 1 TD. His effort stood out as a 2-way player and he was very disciplined. On defense. he played great at linebacker as I was hearing his name called all night, with 1 sack.
