Christian Johnson Christian Johnson 6'0" | 210 lbs | QB River Rouge | 2023 State MI – River Rouge – QB – 6’2″ 210 lbs
Johnson was on fire Friday. He found a groove early and kept it all night. He was hitting his receivers on their hands right in stride. He was also running all over the defense and picking up first downs with his legs. Johnson was able to sling it for 3 touchdowns and then run for 1 on the ground. Johnson had a great performance and he showed all of his talents on Friday. He’s currently a 0-star recruit without any offers. If he can keep performing like that, the offers will start to come in.
Semaj Morgan Semaj Morgan 5'10" | 175 lbs | WR West Bloomfield | 2023 State MI – West Bloomfield – WR – 5’10″ 175 lbs
Morgan looked great on Friday. West Bloomfield may have gotten hammered but Morgan was certainly the bright spot for them. He was able to bring in touchdowns of 21 and 42-yards while being the most reliable target to help move the chains. He was catching everything that came his way and using his speed to get open. He had a great week and hope he can repeat it.
Parker Picot – Rochester Adams – RB – 6’1″ 160 lbs
Picot was running all over the defense on Friday. He was making guys miss and picking up just under 10 yards a carry. He ended up finishing with 210 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was great on Friday and performed when his number was called. He is a lengthy back and it helped him hold leverage on Friday. He could put some weight on, but he’s young and still has time to put muscle on his frame.
Nolan Ray Nolan Ray 6'0" | 195 lbs | RB Brother Rice | 2023 State MI – Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice – RB – 5’10″ 170 lbs
Ray had the kind of game you dream of on Madden. He only carried the ball 12 times but had just under 200 yards. Every time he touched it, he got the corner and took off. His most important run of the night came with the game on the line. Ray got the carry, split a pair of defenders, and rushed for a 68-yard touchdown run. That run was the icing on the cake for the win. He wasn’t a workhorse, but he was insanely efficient. If Ray keeps performing like that, you can expect him to get more work.
Bryce Underwood – Belleville – QB – 6’2″ 190 lbs
The freshman quarterback’s first start was much anticipated and he did not disappoint. He came out a little shaky on the first drive, but after that, he caught fire in a hurry. He threw for well over 300 yards and 5 touchdowns. He was dropping dimes, hitting his receivers in stride, and running when he needed to. He’s going to have some offers before this year even finishes. His first start was indicative of what he can do. He’s got 4 years and will develop a ton by the time he graduates, but his first start looked like he could live up to every expectation he has.
