Week 1 is officially in the books. A lot of players made an impact on their teams but here are my top 5 players who made an impact.
Steelton-Highspire 77 vs Morrisville 0
Steelton-Highspire – <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="64022" first="Alex" last="Erby"]</strong> (SOPH) Quarterback: Erby came onto the scene last season who won that state championship, he did not miss a beat in the 1<sup>st</sup> game of the 2021 season.

Governor Mifflin 55 vs William Penn (York) 6
Governor Mifflin – <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27558" first="Nicholas" last="Singleton"]</strong> (SR) Running Back: Singleton the top-ranked ’22 RB had no issues with William Penn. He outran ’23 second-ranked RB by 187 yards.
STATS: Carries Unknown, 278 yards, 5 TD’s
Central York 35 Exeter Township 28
Central York – <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27576" first="Beau" last="Pribula"]</strong> (SR) Quarterback: Pribula did not miss a beat either entering his final season after last year’s 6A State runner-up champions. He accounted for all 5 touchdowns.
STATS: 17-24, 337 yards, 4 TD’s; 1 Rushing TD
Laurel Highlands 44 vs. Connellsville 14
Laurel Highlands – <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27735" first="Rodney" last="Gallagher"]</strong> (JR) Athlete: Gallagher looked like he got a lot better from last season and it shows in his 1<sup>st</sup> game of the year.
STATS: 9-13, 111 yards, 2 TD’s; 6 carries, 101 yards, 2 TD’s; 2 INT’s
North Penn 42 vs. Souderton 27
North Penn – <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27594" first="Khalani" last="Eaton"]</strong> (SR) Running Back: Believe Eaton is an FBS running back. Quick with good speed and vision.
STATS: 27 Carries, 238 yards, 4 TD’s
