The August update of the Prep Redzone Class of 2023 prospect rankings includes over a dozen new prospects to the list. This list should continue to grow throughout the upcoming season. Here’s a look at several of the newcomers.
No. 11 [player_tooltip player_id="154114" first="Omaree" last="Walker"] | 5-10 | 170 | Don Bosco Prep | WR
Walker will be a player to watch for Don Bosco Prep this upcoming season. Duke and Syracuse both offered him during the month of Jun.
No. 32 [player_tooltip player_id="183499" first="Michael" last="Poinsett"] | 5-8 | 180 | Bordentown | LB
Poinsett plays bigger than his size at the linebacker position. He racked up 63 total tackles (18 solo) and recovered two fumbles as a sophomore.
No. 33 [player_tooltip player_id="187901" first="Alexander" last="Uryniak"] | 5-7 | 195 | North Hunterdon | LB
Uryniak is undersized for the linebacker position but produced in a big way. He made 76 total tackles (51 solo) and sacked the quarterback twice during the 2020 season. He saw a few carries here and there too, rushing 47 times for 242 yards and five touchdowns.
No. 34 [player_tooltip player_id="181959" first="Josh" last="Peluse"] | 5-10 | 194 | Shawnee | LB
Peluse made 72 total tackles (14 solo) last season.
No. 35 [player_tooltip player_id="187902" first="Julian" last="Jones"] | 5-10 | 175 | Monmouth | LB
Jones made 33 total tackles and sacked the quarterback two times in the three games he played in last season. That’s good production in a limited amount of games.
No. 36 [player_tooltip player_id="187903" first="Nic" last="Lembo"] | 5-10 | 200 | Montclair Kimberley Academy | LB
Lembo had an impressive season on both sides of the ball. He made 62 total tackles (30 solo) in seven games last season on defense. Lembo, who also plays running back, rushed 97 times for 463 yards and four touchdowns too. He’s one of the best two-way players in his class.
No. 37 [player_tooltip player_id="181958" first="Brandon" last="Boria"] | 5-8 | 180 | Cherokee | RB
Boria had an impressive sophomore year during the 2020 season. He carried the football 102 times for 888 yards and 11 touchdowns in six games last season.

No. 41 [player_tooltip player_id="181897" first="Jayden" last="Young"] | 6-3 | 165 | St. Thomas Aquinas | QB
Young is another quarterback that will see his stock rise if he’s able to duplicate or exceed what he did during his sophomore year season. He completed 90-of-180 passes for 1,487 yards, 16 touchdowns, and nine interceptions in seven games.
No. 42 [player_tooltip player_id="181904" first="Mathew" last="Yasco"] | 5-10 | Edison | QB
During the 2020 season, Yascko completed 88-out-of-155 passes for 1,129 yards and three interceptions. On the ground, Yasco rushed 41 times for 205 yards and one touchdown. I love the way he quickly throws darts across the middle of the field. He isn’t afraid to put the football in the air and give his receivers a chance to make plays.
