We all know about the two best players in Western Pa are [player_tooltip player_id="27735" first="Rodney" last="Gallagher"] and [player_tooltip player_id="27733" first="Ta’Mere" last="Robinson"]. We take a look at the other up-and-coming juniors. A lot of them on this list have been featured multiple times but have yet to receive offers. This list contains guys who I believe are/should be Power 5 players.
[player_tooltip player_id="139966" first="Lamont" last="Payne"] I Cornerback I Chartiers Valley
Payne had a pretty good sophomore year which earned him five Power 5 offers in the spring. Payne is the best cornerback from the WPIAL with his size and length and physicality at the line of scrimmage. He has the speed and shows to drops hips with receivers. Payne should continue to add offers this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="64059" first="Kameron" last="Cheatom"] I Defensive End I Brashear
Cheatom is still a little raw at the position, with last season being his first year playing d-end. He has the ability to be an elite player though. I was really hoping to see him at a camp, but he was recovering from surgery. He only has MAC offers from Kent State, Akron, and Toledo, but I fully expect him to rake in more offers this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="98581" first="Neco" last="Eberhardt"] I Defensive Tackle I Aliquippa
I really like Eberhardt from his sophomore tape. He’s a big kid who is strong at the point of attack. He’s got good speed and quickness for his size with good change of direction. I’m really excited to watch him play this season. I think he is the best defensive tackle in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id="66045" first="Donovan" last="Walker"] I Safety I Aliquippa
Walker has been featured multiples times in his sophomore year. I consider him to be the best safety from the WPIAL. I expect him to continue to produce and should start receiving offers this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="64025" first="Jerome" last="Mullins"] I Cornerback I Rochester
Mullins had a pretty solid season as a sophomore, he recorded 37 total tackles, 26 solo, with 3 interceptions, and a fumble recovery as a starter. I expect him to continue to dominate and should start gaining more attention.

[player_tooltip player_id="64011" first="Keyshawn" last="Morsillo"] I Quarterback I Westinghouse
Morsillo is a kid to keep watch from the City League. He has a strong arm and looks accurate inside and outside the pocket. He is athletic and shows he can create and extend plays when needed. He shows he is a passer first, runner second. His first year playing QB went undefeated and won the City League Championship. I am excited to see how he does this season.
[player_tooltip player_id="64024" first="Nodin" last="Tracy"] I Defensive Back I West Allegheny
Tracy is a kid I wasn’t really sold on being a Power 5 player until attending Pitt camps. He looked really smooth and quick. He does play corner, but he will be a safety. No FBS offers as of yet, but he should be getting attention this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="66052" first="Eryck" last="Moore"] I Running Back I Plum
Moore has been featured multiple times. He is a guy that should start gaining more attention this season. He has good size who has quickness and speed and shows 2nd gear in open space. Moore is the 3rd best running back in the state.
[player_tooltip player_id="145883" first="Chase" last="Arrington"] I Defensive Back I North Catholic
I knew about Arrington but with limited sophomore film, couldn’t get a good look at him until I saw him at a Pitt camp this summer. He looked smooth, showed quickness and speed. Showed good break and acceleration and able to drop his hips with receivers. I think he can be an FBS player. Really excited to see what he does this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="140962" first="Gavin" last="Moul"] Linebacker I Bethel Park
Moul came on my radar this offseason. He has good size with quickness and speed. He is physical and a good tackler. I think Moul can be a Power 5 linebacker.

[player_tooltip player_id="92676" first="Peyton" last="Faulkner"] I Tight End I Avonworth
Faulkner has the size who plays wideout but will be a tight end at the next level. He’s got a good release with burst off the line of scrimmage. Shows good ball skills. He shows to be physical and a good blocker. I expect him to have a big season. His brother Trevor was part of the 2021 class. He signed with Air Force.

[player_tooltip player_id="139979" first="Jake" last="Beam"] I Offensive Line I Pine-Richland
Beam came on my radar early off-season. He already has the size. He seems athletic. He is a physical kid who drives his feet on contact and is a finisher. He does not show pass protection in any clips, so there are questions to be answered about that. Even though Beam does not have much film with only run blocking plays, I believe he will be a guy who should be on the rise these next couple of years.
