Dante Moore Dante Moore 6'2" | 210 lbs | QB Detroit King | 2023 State MI – Martin Luther King – QB – 6’2″ 195 lbs
Moore is a game-changer and just someone who wins. It’s not often you led a team as a freshman to a state title birth. Since then, he’s only gotten better. He’s got great arm strength and it’s a very live arm. He’s good on the move and can extend plays. He’s a great anticipator and is good at making things happen on the fly. After his spectacular season, he’s got every school in the country after him. He’s a 5-star recruit and already has offers from every SEC and Big 10 school it seems. He’s recently visited Michigan State, Ohio State, and Florida State. He’s likely going to the prize of the class.
Ahmir Herring – West Bloomfield – IOL – 6’4″ 280 lbs
Herring is everything you want in an interior lineman. He checks every box you want. He’s got the size, agility, the body, and he bends well. He’s just as good of an athlete as he is a football player. He’s nasty as the point of attack and blows guys off the ball. Herring is a 4-star recruit with offers from Michigan, Arizona State, and Arkansas. According to 247 sports, he’s “warm” to the offer from Michigan.
Johnathan Slack Johnathan Slack 6'3" | 260 lbs | OL Detroit King | 2023 State MI – Martin Luther King – OT – 6’3″ 280 lbs
Slack, the teammate of star QB Moore, is the anchor upfront. Moore trusts him because Slack is like a wall. He sets that edge and rarely lets anyone through in any fashion. Slack is a big man with a decent build. He doesn’t bend that well, that should get better as he gets older. Slack has offers from Michigan State, Arizona State, and Boston College. He’s currently listed as the 18th OT in the 2023 class as a 4-star recruit.
Brennan Parachek Brennan Parachek 6'5" | 225 lbs | TE Dexter | 2023 State MI – Dexter – TE – 6’5″ 225 lbs
Parachek is a really fun TE. He’s a good athlete that can line up in the slot or right on the edge. He can pass block but he could really learn a few camps on how to do it. He’s got decent speed and is always a threat to change the game in a flash. He’s a 3-star recruit and has offers from Michigan State, Akron, and Arizona State. His future is wide open and where he goes could come his senior year.
Semaj Morgan Semaj Morgan 5'10" | 175 lbs | WR West Bloomfield | 2023 State MI – West Bloomfield – WR – 5’10″ 175 lbs
Morgan is the benefactor of having Herring as his teammate. Morgan has the ability to get open in a hurry. He’s a little more slender than you would like but he does have time to grow. He’s got really good short-area quickness and is always a threat to return a kick back to the house. He’s listed as a 3-star recruit with offers from Bowling Green, Central Michigan, and Memphis. He’s reportedly not close to making a decision.
