Charg1ing Elite Camp Highlights: Top Performers

The Annual Charg1ing Elite Camp Hosted By Braxton Miller and Troy Smith was a great Opportunity for Youth and Highschool Footballers to have some fun with legendary Buckeyes! Here are some athletes that had their talents on Display. <strong>RJ Mukes ~WR Huber Heights Wayne c/o 23 GPA 3.9. 5'9 170.</strong> Although R.J. didn't work out at the camp, he was there to volunteer to coach the Youth. We had a chance to meet and talk about football recruiting. Per his highlight tape, RJ does an excellent job of tracking the football in the air. Has good hands and routinely makes tough catches in traffic. Is a willing run blocker. Once he has the ball, shows competitive spirit to gain yards after the catch( YAC ). Route running is raw but, will improve with experience. RJ is a very humble young man that is definitely one to watch this fall! <strong>Tanelle Rose~RB Brush Highschool  Lyndhurst OH, c/o 24.</strong> Very Fluid for a young player. Is sneaky fast per the highlight tape. Is able to deliver a blow when he ends a run. Gets North and south quickly. Shows solid Vision and footwork. Speed constantly builds as the play continues. Solid Frame to grow into. Definitely, a player to watch going forward. <strong>Blaze Campbell~SAF Kennedy Catholic Hermitage PA. c/o 23. 5'10 170. 4.0 GPA.</strong> Absolute Nose for the football! Consistent Playmaker. Plays behind his pads. Aggressive and loves to make contact. Understands Angles and fills run alleys consistently.  Versus Outside Run, Consistently Sets Edge and uses a solid technique to keep outside arm free. Shows a knack for blocking Field Goal Attempts. Displays leadership of Defensive Unit. Is an effective Blitzer. Plays with Energy and Competitive Spirit. <strong>Simon Godwin~SAF Riverside Highschool Degraff OH, c/o 23. 5'6 140.</strong>  Very Determined Player. Won't wow with speed but, makes plays with heart and good technique. Solid tackler. Plays through Whistle. A versatile player is a Wide Receiver and, Return Specialist. Routinely uses size to his advantage and gains leverage easily versus taller players. <strong>Drake Stapleton~QB McClain Highschool Greenfield OH, c/o 24. 6'2 180.</strong> Sets up quickly. Has a High Release Point. Does a nice job of setting up and following through with release. Very Comfortable in the Pocket for such a young player( Poise) Shows Solid arm strength and accuracy in the quick game(3 step drop) Overall, has very good technique. Can move and uses long legs to make decent gains in the run game. Very Interested to watch him develop during the next couple of seasons. <strong>Austin Yoder~TE Southeastern Local South Charleston OH, c/o 23 6'1 190.</strong> Solid Catch Radius. Has a nice frame to grow into. Uses Height and long arms to Highpoint the football versus shorter defenders. Consistently secures the catch before turning upfield. Makes contested catches consistently. Would like to see improved Route Running.
