Oscar Smith (Chesapeake) 2022 DL Randal Pearson
Pearson was dominant in 1-on-1 drills and was able to get into the backfield on all the snaps I saw. 6’2″ and 225lbs, Pearson has good enough size to probably make it to the FCS level if he has a good season coming up and can get out to a few more camps. Pearson also throws discuss and you can see in when he uses his arms to shed blockers on his was into the backfield.

Albemarle (Charlottesville) 2023 DB Isaiah Grevious
Grevious really impressed me with his coverage abilities in both 1-on-1 drills and when the camp went to 7v7 to close out the event. Grevious has good size at 6’1.5″ and 195lbs, his 4.0+ GPA will also open doors for him. Grevious is excellent in coverage and goes up and gets the ball. While he has no offers yet, his tape and GPA should stand out.
Life Christian (Richmond) 2022 DE D’Andre Martin
Martin was explosive at the camp, dominating drills and 1-on-1s, proving Life Christian has more defensive linemen behind new JMU commit Tyrique Tucker. Martin clocks in at 6’5:” and 280lbs and is a mammoth human and has to be pretty scary to see heading towards you if you are an opposing quarterback. Martin picked up a Norfolk State offer at the camp and has since also picked up Duke to go along with Alabama A&M, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Florida State, and Florida A&M.
Broad Run (Ashburn) 2022 Kicker Garrett Bennion
I noticed Bennion after the other players had wrapped up for the day. It’s rare to see special teams players getting work at these camps, but they deserve scholarships also. Bennion was 2nd team All-Conference as a junior and has a good leg. Bennion was kicking absolute bombs off the tee from about 60-65 yards out and nailed each one. With a 3.76 GPS, Bennion should be in a good position.
