As our 2022 and 2023 rankings update has commenced, we noticed just how stacked Sto-Rox is with talent. A whopping total of 16 ranked prospects in just two classes! Sto-Rox looks to be better than just a great team on paper, they are looking to make some serious noise in the WPIAL. In today’s piece, we will showcase all ranked players out of Sto-Rox, and a little of what they bring to the table. | 6’0, 190 | ATH | 2022 | 5’10, 180 | ATH | 2022 Austin Jones Jr.| 6’0, 190 | ATH | 2022 | 6’2, 280 | DL | 2022 | 6’0, 300 | OL | 2022 | 6’0, 270 | OL | 2022 The 2022s feature slotted at 44 and at 149. , along with are the two highest-ranked prospects out of the program, both being top 50 players in each of their respective classes. Pearson, who earned a true ATH designation, is as smooth a prospect as you can find. He makes cuts look effortless in the open field, showing off elite elusiveness and great overall awareness with the ball in his hand. Running back, defensive back, kick return, punt return. You name it, Pearson can produce there. An incredible 21 touchdowns were accounted for by the senior. Austin Jones was just featured in a newcomers piece last week, where we spoke highly about his play-making ability. New linemen make it onto our rankings. Durrett, Young, and Throop all land as top 320 prospects as their tapes showed a ton of grit and strength. Five ’23 prospects land in the top 106. Miller-Ross at 29, Green-Miller at 53, Jenkins at 67, at 96, and Hibbler at 106. An incredible group of talent that is sure to overwhelm offenses and defenses this fall, as most of these players can play both ways. Quarterback has had an incredible off-season, bringing home a ton of hardware after dominating multiple 7v7 tournaments. His tape is an absolute pleasure to watch. The kid oozes poise, stands tall in the pocket, and puts an emphasis on mechanics that can be seen immediately. He’s slight at 160, his quick release can help throttle opposing pass-rush. So much more talent has been added to our rankings out of this program. I am big on , a stud defensive back who just missed landing on our top 10 newcomers at his position. A majority of their talent is undersized, almost all skill position players are under 6 feet tall. It'll be interesting how they decide to counter physical defensive backs. We are expecting to cover Sto-Rox for quite some time, so there is no rush to fully evaluate the group. Just know they’re coming.
