Lloyd Johnson – DE/OLB/DT – 6’2″/255 – Liberty Hill, TX (Liberty Hill):
Johnson is intriguing to me with the athleticism he brings but also because he is someone that could go two different ways in my opinion at the next level as he is a tweener at this point. I could see him playing as a stand up OLB in a 3-4 or could see him adding 20-25 pounds or so playing the 3-tech position. In Liberty Hill’s 3-4 defense you see him line up at multiple techniques. His 1st step quicks off the ball is evident but also shows that he brings legit speed. Just watch him close on the QB. As a rusher he shows he can dip his shoulder, get low and bend. Flashes hand usage as well and the ability to stack and shed blocks. Also like the motor he displays getting back downfield to make tackles. Sam Houston State was the first to offer earlier this month and Incarnate Word followed suit just yesterday.
Had a great time at @UHCougarFB Camp yesterday. It was great being coached by @coachbrianearly pic.twitter.com/BKNAYAvg4I

Murray Robinson – DT – 6’2″/280 – Cedar Park, TX (Cedar Park):
Robinson is your 0/1-tech type that is your stalemate in the middle against the run that is going to take on double teams and eat up blockers. He’s strong, really powerful and with his thick build he’s not easy to move. Love the leverage he plays with as you see him fire low off the ball and shoots those hands. Brings strong, heavy hands as you see him bench press or easily control blockers and shed with ease. He generates a lot of torque through his feet, hips and hands as you see him man handle OL at times and even 1-arm shrugging them off. At his size he actually is a decent athlete as he shows he can flip his hips and can change directions pretty well as well. Even has a really nice interception as he reads a screen and gets off the ground adjusting to the ball in the air before making a nice play with his hands. In the tweet included below he actually shows a quick, lateral move off the ball for an easy W so we will see if he brings more as a pass rusher his senior year which will only make him that much more intriguing.

Tomas Torres – DE/DT – 6’5″/255 – Temple, TX (Temple):
This is a long, powerful DL with heavy hands that flashes advanced hand usage throughout his film. See him time and time again shoot those hands inside creating extension before he violently disengages with rag doll type power. Easy stack and shed with his strength at the point of attack and hands. Athletically he moves pretty well laterally and has decent speed but isn’t an elite type of athlete. Would also like to see him anticipate the snap better as he can be a bit delayed off the ball at times. But once he gets moving forward, that length and power he brings makes him difficult to handle. This is your two-gapping 4i type of DE or could even see him kicking inside to DT at the next level. Definitely one to keep your eye on during his senior year.
