Wells is a savvy receiver with good upside. He has continued to grow and add weight, now at 6’2” 175 lbs., without sacrificing any speed or quickness. He’s a creative route runner that has a strong release off the LOS and can sell his routes at the break point. Shows he can stretch the defense vertically using his speed to slip by coverage and does a great job tracking the deep ball. He’s a reliable pass catcher that has the body control and coordination to come down with tough contested receptions. He’s a sleeper with D1 talent and ability.
