Check out some of the top offensive newcomers to the 2023 Prep Redzone WA Rankings. [player_tooltip player_id="155580" first="David" last="Wells"], WR, Lakes Wells is a savvy receiver with good upside. He has continued to grow and add weight, now at 6’2” 175 lbs., without sacrificing any speed or quickness. He’s a creative route runner that has a strong release off the LOS and can sell his routes at the break point. Shows he can stretch the defense vertically using his speed to slip by coverage and does a great job tracking the deep ball. He’s a reliable pass catcher that has the body control and coordination to come down with tough contested receptions. He’s a sleeper with D1 talent and ability. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/12673534/605fd986b023810ce0b66f58 [player_tooltip player_id="155581" first="Isaiah" last="Smith"], OL, Archbishop Murphy 6-2 305 Voted First Team All-League on both sides of the line as a sophomore. Possesses a big strong frame at 6’2” 305 lbs. with a powerful lower half. He’s a plus athlete at his size showing good feet, bend, and initial quickness especially as a pulling guard. He comes hard out of his stance with good pad level and leverage as he approaches the contact point. Flashes an ability to finish his blocks using his natural power at the POA. Depending on how he develops, he has the versatility to play either side of the ball at the college level. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/2801622/60612927e985240d84e721a6 [player_tooltip player_id="155582" first="Kyle" last="Martin"], OL, Sumner Great frame to build on for an interior OL at 6’3” 300 lbs. Shows good all-around fundamentals, technique, and footwork with his ability to execute different blocks efficiently. Plus strength at the contact point, he explodes his hips and drives his legs through contact and can also anchor down to stop an oncoming rush. Plays with good leverage and balance, rarely see him too high or outside his framework at the POA. Love his controlled but physical and aggressive style of play. A First Team All-League selection he has the foundational skillset to play at the D1 level. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/12798339/60396a75d21b09139002bc14 [player_tooltip player_id="87469" first="Aaron" last="Parker"], OL, Lakewood Parker is a violent and powerful interior offensive line prospect at 6’2” 305 lbs. He shows good functional athleticism and mobility to work to the second level and sustain his blocks in space. He fires off the ball with a quick first step and good initial quickness to close space and his brute strength often allows him to easily overpower opponents. Great ability to win one on one matchups and is reliable in both the run game and in pass protection. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/13242923/6096c364dfd98b011040852e [player_tooltip player_id="155583" first="Julian" last="Thomas"], RB, Cascade Thomas is a versatile and explosive athlete that can affect the game in a variety of ways. Top tier athleticism, he’s fluid with his movement and shows great burst/acceleration in addition to his lateral quickness. As a ball carrier, he’s a well-balanced runner with good instincts and vision to find open running lanes. He runs hard for his size and proved he can pick up tough yards in between the tackles. He’s an exciting player to watch and will be interesting to see how he develops. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/5547066/605cfb1a3deb5713e86e7009 [player_tooltip player_id="155591" first="Job" last="Kralik"], WR, Eatonville The 6’0” 170 lbs. speedster was one of the top scorers in the state and filled the stat sheet in all three phases during the spring season. He scored 95 total points in just six games including 10 touchdowns in a variety of ways including receiving, rushing, and kick returning. Dangerous as a ball carrier in space using his top end/breakaway speed to run by or around defenders. Gets to his second gear quickly and is able to sustain his burst through traffic. He’s difficult to contain and will be a big time playmaker for Eatonville for the next several seasons. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/13008056/604eccbe3df4da096c8e17da
