But they aren’t the only schools who could be adding a quarterback from Georgia. There’s still plenty or rising senior QBs who are looking for a home at the next level, and these are a few that could see their stock rise over the next few months….
Brooks Pangle – Greenbrier
In West Georgia is where you’ll find one of the top under the radar 2022 QBs in the state. Pangle is coming off an excellent junior season where he threw for 2,858 yards (260 passing ypg) and 31 touchdowns. He has good size at 6-foot-2 180-pounds and moves really well in the pocket. He has a strong arm, but more importantly, he’s accurate. He’s great as consistently putting the ball where it needs to be down the field and was excellent in the red-zone. He’s a smart player and always found a way to make plays when his team needed him too. He ranked No.8 in the state in passing yards last season and was No.5 in the state in passing touchdowns. There’s a lot Pangle does well and he proved that he was a winner as well, leading Greenbrier to the playoffs. Look for Pangle to step his game up this offseason and have an outstanding junior season.
Looking for an under the radar QB in Gwinnett County? Ratliff is your guy. The 6-foot-1 185-pound athlete is coming off a big junior season where he threw for 2,505 yards and 22 TDs. He was accurate down the field and throws the ball with great touch. He throws a very catchable ball and did a great job of throwing on the run. He has a 66% completion rate and also knew how to beat defenses with his legs. A basketball star as well, Ratliff constantly showed his athleticism and made a lot of tough plays look really easy. He was extremely productive and showed good speed for his size as well. He’s a dynamic quarterback and definitely one to know in Gwinnett County for the 2021 season.
In Macon is where you’ll find one of the top athletic QBs in Middle Georgia. Solomon is a dual-threat QB who has really grown as a QB over the last few years. As a sophomore last season, Solomon passed for 2,336 yards and 22 TDs while rushing for another 350 yards and six touchdowns. The rising senior is a two-sport star who makes a big impact on the court as a guard. He moves really well and can beat defenses with not only his arm, but his legs as well. He wasn’t asked to do a lot as a sophomore, but going into his junior year knowing the offense, he had a breakout year. His biggest strength right now is his accuracy and his experience. He knows the offense, knows where to go with ball, and will make defenses pay if he get outside the pocket. He’s one of the top returning dual-threat QBs in the Macon area and is bound for an even bigger season this fall.
