We have updated the player rankings to include new players being added. I have selected several newly ranked players to review. The players worked hard to improve their skills and their efforts were displayed on the playing field.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="118817" first="Isaiah" last="Faulkner"], QB, 6’0", 180, Corinth Holders HS (No. 12 QB, No. 129 Overall)</strong>. Isaiah sets up in the pocket and throws accurate medium-range passes under pressure. He knows when to run to avoid a sack and is a good straight-line runner. Isaiah displayed the ability to accelerate past defenders in the open field.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="141262" first="Jaydon" last="Brooks"], RB, 6’0", 210, Princeton HS (No. 11 RB, No. 108 Overall)</strong>. Jaydon is an explosive straight-line runner who runs strong inside. He displayed the ability to accelerate past defenders in the open field to gain big yardage, scoring often. Jaydon has good balance and does not go down upon initial contact with a defender.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="141271" first="Layton" last="Allen"], WR, 6’1", 180, East Surry HS (No. 16 WR, No. 110 Overall)</strong>. Layton runs good pass routes and ability to separate from the defender to make catches in traffic. He displayed good foot speed to accelerate past defenders in the open field, gaining big yardage.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="120343" first="Carter" last="Moses"], TE, 6’7", 220, John T. Hoggard HS (No. 5 TE, No. 112 Overall)</strong>. Carter is solid as a blocker, using his size to control the defender. He uses his size to shield off the defender to make the catch and gain yardage after the catch. Carter runs with power and is difficult to bring down.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="133272" first="Kali" last="Moore"], OL, 6’2", 250, Wake Forest HS (No. 14 OL, No. 131 Overall)</strong>. Kali displayed good footwork and technique while controlling the defender. He is quick out of his stance to make contact with defender, resulting in a high number of pancake blocks.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="141377" first="Hunter" last="Berryhill"], DL, 6’2", 205, Overhills HS (No. 27 DL, No. 132 Overall)</strong>. Hunter displayed quickness, strength, and good use of hands controlling the blocker. He moves quickly out of his stance to get around the blocker to disrupt the play and make the stop.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="141380" first="Elijah" last="Collins"], DB, 5’7", 160, Cummings HS (No. 16 DB, No. 138 Overall)</strong>. Elijah displayed good lateral movement and quickness to cover a lot of ground quickly. He has good technique and is a solid open-field tackler.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="141362" first="Ashton" last="Applewhite"], LB, 5’10", 210, Granville Central HS (No. 21 LB, No. 137 Overall)</strong>. Ashton displayed good lateral movement and reads the play before reacting to make the stop. He is solid in technique which enables him to make open field tackles.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="120256" first="Jared" last="Harrell"], ATH, 6’0", 170, Panther Creek HS (No. 11 ATH, No. 136 Overall)</strong>. Jared is a versatile athlete who plays multiple positions for Panther Creek HS. He is quick and runs good pass routes, making catches in traffic. A solid blocker while playing as a wide receiver. Jared plays aggressive as a defensive back, deflecting a high number of passes to stop completions.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="141375" first="Jacorrey" last="Bible"], DL, 6’3", 190, Rolesville HS (No. 26 DL, No. 127 Overall)</strong>. Jacorrey plays with a lot of energy and is quick out of his stance. His quickness enables him to get around the blocker, resulting in a high number of sacks. Jacorrey will move up in the rankings as he continue to gain size and strength.
