Jadyn Marshall Jadyn Marshall 6'0" | 185 lbs | WR St. Mary's - Stockton | 2022 State CA , WR, St. Mary’s – Stockton
Marshall has been climbing rankings and recruiting boards nationwide over the last year establishing himself as one of the top receivers in the 2022 class. Being one of the top hurdlers in the country he’s an exceptional athlete with elite level speed. His burst and acceleration off the line of scrimmage make him a mismatch for any high school DB that can’t match his speed but the elite level college’s are recruiting him for his ability after the catch. He’s a threat to score every time touches the ball and finds space no matter where he is on the field. His elusiveness in the open field makes him one of the most explosive athletes in the country. Still room to develop as a technical WR but his natural ability and raw potential is undeniable. Currently holds 13 major offers including Auburn, Oregon, Nebraska, Tennessee, and USC.
Cooper Barkate Cooper Barkate 6'1" | 185 lbs | ATH Mater Dei | 2022 State CA , WR, Mater Dei
Cooper transferred to Mater Dei after playing his first two seasons at St. Margaret’s and spending a short time at Mission Viejo. He’s a game breaker with the versatility to excel at almost any position on the field. Not a burner in terms of top end/break away speed but possesses great game speed to be an explosive play maker. He’s a smooth athlete that is a technician when it comes to route running and creating separation. Displays great body control and coordination to track/adjust to ball flight while making highlight reel receptions. Strong and confident hands, he does a good job extending catching everything away from his body. He’s a complete football player with great instincts and natural feel for the game. He’s a high academic prospect that currently holds 19 offers including Notre Dame, Oregon, Utah, Virginia Tech, Arkansas, and a handful of Ivy Leagues.
Antoine Jones Antoine Jones 6'0" | 195 lbs | WR Colony | 2022 State CA , WR, Colony
The receiver out of Colony HS had one of the biggest jumps in the 2022 rankings update. Jumping 61 spots from the original 2020 rankings after pulling in 12 D1 offers, most of which have come in 2021. He possesses elite level size at 6’4” 195 lbs. with plenty of room to add weight to his frame. Passes the eye test and holds all the physical traits college coaches look for in a Power 5 wide out including size, length, athleticism, and speed. He’s a creative and savvy route runner that can attack the defense at all three levels. Love his ability to use his size to his advantage and create positional leverage by boxing out defenders to open up a throwing lane and be a big target for the QB. Soft hands with a large catch radius that can extend outside his framework. Also a strong 50/50 or jump ball threat using his leaping ability and length. Committed to UCLA in early April, his offer list also includes Arizona, Arizona State, Fresno State, San Diego State, and several Ivy Leagues.
Jackson Brown Jackson Brown 6'6" | 295 lbs | OL San Ramon Valley | 2022 State CA , OL, San Ramon Valley
Brown is one of the fastest rising offensive lineman prospects in the state after racking up 10 D1 offers since February. Just this month he has received Pitt, New Mexico, FAU, SDSU, and Utah State to go along with three PAC12 offers. He’s a solid all around lineman with a good combination of size and technique. At 6’5” 275 lbs. he’s a plus athlete with good feet, bend, and flexibility. He moves well and shows good lateral agility to match defenders movement. Great use and placement of his hands, he’s quick to snap them into position with a strong initial punch and good ability to extend/lockout. He comes hard off the ball and is a finisher with good strength, power, and leg drive at the POA. Plays with great leverage and flashes a good ability to latch on and sustain his blocks both in the run game and in pass protection. Expect the offers to keep rolling in.
Jaylen Thompson Jaylen Thompson 5'10" | 200 lbs | RB Bishop Alemany | 2022 State CA , RB, St. Bernard
A lot to like about Thompson’s skillset and running style. He’s a downhill ball carrier that is strong and physical at the contact point but also has some quick twitch and shiftiness in the open field. Great patience while he reads his blocks and allows the play to develop but hits the hole hard and accelerates as soon as he finds a lane. Has a quick first step with great short area quickness and burst. He flashes good natural instincts and awareness as a ball carrier with plus vision to see the cut-back or open space. Love his balance, pad level, and leverage allowing him to run through contact and break tackles at the line of LOS and in the secondary. He’s a solid all around back and one of the best in the state holding 17 offers from some of the elite programs in the country including Texas, Oregon, Penn State, and USC.
