His older brother Hank is the quarterback at Boise State and played at Murrieta Valley. Bachmeier had 136 yards receiving and a pair of touchdowns in a win against Murrieta Mesa. He is an outstanding route runner and has the strength to take big hits. One is receiver Jack Fairchild, who set multiple school records in the team’s close loss to Kennedy. He caught 12 passes for 173 yards and four touchdowns. He also had 278 all-purpose yards which is a school record. He had just over 100 yards with a handful of catches in a close loss to one of the top teams in the nation. The reason TMac is on this list is because he drew six pass interference penalties against the elite Mater Dei defense. He threw four of those to Powe. Powe is 6-foot-2 but wins a lot of jump balls like someone who is three inches taller. He had 156 yards on seven catches last week and is a great athlete. He only had three catches in a win against Grossmont but had 160 yards and scored touchdowns on all three of those receptions. He had a 77-yard touchdown catch. According to MaxPreps, the game was his season debut and the Helix offense is totally different with him on the field.
