Defensive backs are some of the most athletic players on the field. They must possess quickness, be reliable tacklers, and reactors in space. Most defensive backs also play on the offensive side of the football and are major contributors on special teams. Denton is a big strong safety who has the size of a linebacker but the speed of a defensive back. He fights through blockers to make the tackle on run support and is a quick reactor to passes on the perimeter. He’s a strong runner once he has the ball in his possession.
