Jabari Campbell - WR/DB - Kelloggsville - 6’3 190 - #2
Jabari is a big bodied WR/DB prospect who excels at attacking the ball in the air, as evident by his 17 receptions for 510 yards and 4 touchdowns last season for Kelloggsville. He added 1 interception, 3 pass deflections and 17 tackles on the defensive side of the ball playing Safety for the Rockets. I am interested to see the development of his route running and perimeter blocking heading into his senior season, as I think his pure size and ability to go up and get it bodes well as a college football prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id="30230" first="Jeremiah" last="Drake"] - QB - Godwin Heights - 6’5 235 - #1
Jeremiah is a big bodied QB prospect from Godwin Heights. The first thing he has going for him is the size to transition to another position if QB isn’t in his long term future. However, he does have a lot of ability as the signal caller based off of his Junior film, he shows adequate arm strength in driving the ball down the field as well as delivering the ball to the sideline while throwing on the run. He also shows the ability to keep a play alive, is a threat to run downhill in a read option scheme and even gets out in front as a lead blocker at times. With his athleticism and size, he is a legit college football prospect if it is something that he wants to do.

Ethan Schmid - DT/OG - Belding - 5’10 205 - #52
Ethan is undersized for a prospect playing his position at the next level, but this kid plays nasty. He was an honorable mention selection for the Grand Rapids MLive dream team as a Junior. He finishes blocks, he runs down on kickoff, he gets after the QB in the pass rush, and he moves his feet well when pulling or getting to the second level while blocking. He was clearly an important piece of Belding’s 7-2 record last year, and I am excited to see how hard he has worked in the weight room leading up to his senior season.

Dylan Turoski - S/RB - Sparta - #6
Dylan was an honorable mention selection to the Grand Rapids MLive Dream Team as a Junior due to the fact that he put up 1,287 All-purpose yards and 15 TD’s on offense and special teams as well as 46 tackles on defense. He is the definition of a “Football player,” because he is always around the ball, always driving his legs on contact, and has a nact for finding the endzone. He isn’t the biggest kid in the world, but he checks all the boxes as productive player and heading into his senior season I feel comfortable calling him a solid NAIA/DIII type prospect with room to grow.

Jackson Gates - QB - Comstock Park - 6’2 160 - #7
Jackson was asked to do it all as the Junior signal caller for the Panthers in 2020. At 6’2 160, he has a frame that is still developing, but he posses the ability to run the ball downhill and keep plays alive in the passing game with his legs. He has a bit of a long release throwing the ball, but connected on several deep passes throughout the year. As is with most rising seniors, his development throughout the off season could have him poised for a big senior campaign in year two of a new coaching regime.

Noah Dame - Hopkins - OL/DL - 6’1 225 - #58
Noah has a shorter highlight film and was on a senior heavy team in 2020, but what I can see in his tape is he can move pretty well from his Offensive Tackle position and it is game over when he gets into the defenders body. I am excited to see his development from junior to senior year and see what this Hopkins program can do in 2021.

Note: These are not the only teams in the OK-Silver, 2020 was a difficult season, especially for smaller schools. I will be writing more articles on these teams who have some younger guys in the near future.
