Central Ohio’s Central Catholic League – Top 2022’s

Over the next few weeks I will be detailing the top 2022’s from the conferences in Ohio.  This series will focus on the Central Catholic League in Central Ohio. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>St Francis DeSales</strong></span> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91509" first="Jonathan" last="Thompson"] </strong>OLB 6-1 210 - Very good multi threat OLB who has the size to move to DE.  Can rush the passer with good hip bend as well as drop into the flats and get underneath outside receivers.  Used in a stand up role on and off the LOS but could put his hand in the dirt and get physical.  He has had one of the hottest off seasons in Ohio.  Has many offers on the table. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11601924/Jonathan-Thompson <strong>Whit Hogood</strong> QB 6-1 195 - Above average QB who can make the plays when called upon.  Commands the offense for the Stallions.  Has the athletic ability to move inside and outside the pocket.  Throws the ball with good velocity and spin.  Appears to read the full field and deliver the ball with touch.  Excited to watch him this upcoming season. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11615414/Whit-Hobgood <strong>Jalen Carpenter</strong> OL 6-3 230 - Class of 2022 athletic OL who could be converted to TE.  Has long arms and really bursts his hands up and through defenders.  Impressed with his athleticism being a younger player.  Can make all the blocks in the run and pass game.  Very good quickness to his outside engulfing defenders quickly. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11635398/Jalen-Carpenter <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Bishop Watterson</strong></span> <strong>Jack Henry</strong> RB 5'8 180 - Jack has tremendous upside.  He is quick with great vision and burst.  He is a tough inside runner who gets to the gap quickly.  He is a one cut runner.  Utilized at wildcat QB at times.  Should be a really good contributor this season. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11778355/Jack-Henry <strong>Kevin Hinsman </strong>DL 6'2 235 - Kevin has a great get off and explodes his hands well into blockers.  Held up well against the large offensive lineman this season.  He gets extension in his gap and has above average escape. He is a high motor player with tremendous upside in the 2022 class. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11200823/Kevin-Hinsman <strong>Cole Graney</strong> OLB 6'0 215 - Cole has great athletic ability and motor.  He is the kind of player who can change direction really quickly and make plays in the backfield at a high rate.  Great blitzer with advanced pass rush skills.  He can cover space in pass coverage and gets to his areas of responsibility quickly.
