Purcell Marian
Kylyn Macklin – DE – 6’2 225 – 4th in the state in sacks last season. Explosive off the snap and gets on the OL very quickly. Has a great speed rush and great skills with his hands. Reads blocks well and transitions into block defeat and pass rush quickly. He has a motor which never stops. Look for him to have a couple of offers heading into next season.

Jack Mumper – OLB – 5’11 205 – Very good LB with tremendous upside. He reads plays well and moves patiently inside the box and explosively outside of it. Good tackler and does a good job of bringing his hips with him. I was impressed with his ability to cover the slot receivers this season. Keep an eye out for his senior year.

Artrimus Sartor – SS – 5’8 165 – He is very physical and plays with his hair on fire. Very good against the run game coming quickly downhill. Sound tackler who gets people on the ground. He is a good cover Safety with a good sense of spacing. Plays the ball well in the air and can cover slots when called upon in man coverage. Check out his film below.

Carroll
Elliot Braun – DT – 6’4 225 – Great size and strength. Is very flexible and explosive in his stance. Very quick first two steps with a powerful punch. Uses his size to get extension and escapes blocks well with proper leverage. Has a good interior bull rush move and gets on the QB quickly collapsing the pocket. He will be a force next season.

Shemar Whitfield – CB – 5’11 185 – Plays from a tilt stance. Patience in his read steps and transitions into his assignments well. Impressed with his ability to keep the ball on the inside shoulder and make plays on the perimeter. Has the speed to keep in phase with receivers in zone coverage. Has the ball skills to make plays with it in the air. Escapes blocks well and makes good tackles.
