AJ Cottrill- Tampa Jesuit

Cottrill is a name to get to know in Florida, he led the state with a gaudy 208 tackles on the season! He averaged over 14 tackles per game, recorded three sacks, 13 tfl, 1 int, and six forced fumbles. He’s a big play linebacker that reads and diagnosis plays extremely well, physical tackler that does a good job scraping and sifting through traffic to the ball. He is a nice sized backer that also very good in pass covered showing the ability to play in space. He’s also a really good baseball player, he just received his first offer from Columbia University.

Trooper Price- North Florida Christian c/o 23
6’1 200lbs
Price is a good looking junior linebacker Prospect with nice size/speed combo, he led the State of Florida in tackles per game registering 17. He’s got a fantastic nose for the ball; does well reading guards and diagnosing, he’s a run and chase linebacker that shows good burst and acceleration to the ball-carrier. He’s a rangy player that does a good job making plays outside the numbers. Price is not just a finesse linebacker he will step up and fill the hole when needed.

Ke’shaun Mitchell LB- Madison County
5’10 180lbs
Mitchell had an unbelievable Junior season registering 147 tackles, two forced fumbles, and a sack. He averaged over 11 tackles a game! Mitchell is a nice linebacker prospect who has a thick frame. Shows closing speed and explosiveness as a tackler. When he fills a gap he comes with authority and power. His film is loaded with fantastic hits, I didn’t see Madison using him in space much, he does have athleticism to cover slots and backs, but he is definitely a prototype in the box linebacker.

Martin Ramos- Venice
5’10 210lbs
Ramos is a another good linebacker Prospect from powerhouse Venice High School, he’s a strong compact player that benches over 300 lb and has good quickness and acceleration to the ball. He does a really good job timing his blitzes and getting into the backfield, he had four sacks this season from his linebacker position and 11 tackles-for-loss. He’s a very smart/downhill player that sniffs out plays in a hurry and had 127 tackles on the year; he’s a three-down linebacker that’s also very good in zone coverage.

Jaylen Wester- Palmetto
6’0 200lbs
Wester’s speed and athleticism are off the charts, he’s built like a safety, but plays like a linebacker. He’s athletic enough that he could translate to safety at the next level if the program wants him too. Wester can play in space and does a good job crossing the face of linemen to keep blockers off him, he can fill with authority and is a playmaker all over the field. He has exceptional key and diagnose ability and gets to the ball carrier in a hurry.

Sipp has a good frame with the ability to add more weight, he’s a fast linebacker that gets downhill in a hurry and possesses outstanding closing speed. He does a good job taking on blocks disengaging and getting to the ball carrier, he’s the Prototype linebacker teams are looking for to play against spread offenses because he’s athletic and can tackle well in space. His recruiting has skyrocketed this month getting offers from Colorado State and Buffalo.

Trevor Holtzendorf LB- Union County c/o 22
5’10 175lbs
Holtzendorf had a terrific senior season with 122 tackles, three sacks, and four forced fumbles. He averaged over 10 tackles a game. As a player he is very explosive and reads and reacts to the ball quickly, he reads his keys extremely fast and explodes to the ball carrier with bad intentions. For someone of his size he runs and hits with power! He times his blitz’s superbly and shoot gaps in the blink of an eye into the backfield.
