Recruiters, are you still looking to add depth to your rosters? Because there is still a ton of unsigned talent from our Top 200. These are the players that could provide additional depth, or could be an intricate part in your program’s success. [player_tooltip player_id="100867" first="Jake" last="Shope"] – Goddard, 6’1”, 180, WR Shope has all the tools to be a very solid wide-out at the next level. He has sharp route running, soft hands, and playing making after the catch. The 5A All-Stater can be a reliable option for pass heavy offenses. [player_tooltip player_id="35363" first="Brandon" last="Bowles"] – Maize South, 6’1”, 190. LB Bowles can be a field general for a program’s defense. The All-State linebacker reads and reacts well, and is a sure tackler. He may need to add little size, but Bowles has the potential to be a defensive anchor. [player_tooltip player_id="35398" first="Luke" last="Stewart"] – Derby, 6’0”, 210, LB Stewart would bring a winning mentality, and a high motor with him to a collegiate program. He shows good awareness in pass coverage, and he is quick coming off the edge on blitzes. [player_tooltip player_id="100928" first="Darious" last="Bibbs"] – Olathe East, 5’11”, 185, WR Bibbs is a player that college programs need. Getting the ball in his hands is a must. He can play in the slot or out wide, run multiple routes, and he can be a game changer as a return-man. [player_tooltip player_id="35382" first="Tanner" last="Knox"] – Derby, 5’11”, 190, DB Knox is everything a defensive coordinator would want from a safety. He sees the field well, and he does a good job of staying over the top. Stewart’s closing speed helps put him in the right position to make a play as well. [player_tooltip player_id="35508" first="Jacob" last="Chugg"] – Wichita Collegiate, 5’10”, 175, ATH The Spartans’ offense was fueled by big plays from Chugg in 2020. His versatility and speed could give him some early playing time his freshman year. Whether he’s getting handoffs, or lining up at receiver; Chugg has the capability of taking it to the house. [player_tooltip player_id="35410" first="Hunter" last="Niemann"] – Maize South, 5’11”, 170, RB When fully healthy, Niemann is an explosive back. He runs hard for his size, and he can make plays out of the backfield as a receiver. All this young man needs is a chance. [player_tooltip player_id="100868" first="Tanner" last="Barcus"] – Parsons, 5’8”, 160, WR Barcus was Mr. Reliable in 2020. The Parsons senior caught 75 passes for 1,032 yards and 13 touchdowns. His combination of route running and reliable hands will make him a solid option in a pass-first offense. [player_tooltip player_id="49726" first="Tanner" last="Curry"] – Blue Valley Southwest, 5’11”, 170, QB Curry finished his career at Blue Valley Southwest as the leading passer in school history. He can sling the ball all over the field. He has nice accuracy on deep balls, and he has active feet in the pocket. Curry could fit into an up-tempo style of offense. [player_tooltip player_id="49694" first="Max" last="Close"] – Shawnee Mission East, 6’4”, 225, DL/LB It will be interesting to see which position Close will play at the next level. Close has the size and physicality to be a force at defensive end, but he also has the athleticism to be a Taysom Hill-esque player on offense. [player_tooltip player_id="35364" first="Jacob" last="Younkman"] – Wichita Northwest, 5’11”, 210, LB Younkman is a seek and destroy type of linebacker. Once he sees where the play is going; he shoots into the backfield like a torpedo. He doesn’t give up on plays, and he will always try to find a way to the ball. [player_tooltip player_id="100136" first="Eli" last="Rowland"] – Andale, 5’11”, 175, RB The 3A Offensive Player of the Year could make a difference for some offenses. Rowland is a patient runner that can read blocks well, and he can make plays out of the backfield as a receiver. If recruiters need depth in the backfield; Rowland would be a great addition. [player_tooltip player_id="35412" first="Drew" last="French"] – Lansing, 6’1”, 265, OL French would come in his freshman year with some experience. The three-year starter would bring a polished skillset with him. I could see him competing for early playing time. [player_tooltip player_id="35458" first="Ethan" last="Houk"] – Parsons, 6’1”, 190, QB Houk made progress from his junior to senior year. He increased his passing yards and touchdowns, but more importantly; he was more accurate and decreased his turnovers. Houk will only continue to grow as a quarterback. [player_tooltip player_id="35444" first="Koy" last="Kenny"] – Ulysses, 6’1”, 215, LB Kenny has been extremely overlooked. He has the size and physicality to be a next level linebacker. Kenny was a stat monster in 2020; piling up 127 total tackles; 27 being for a loss, with two interceptions and two forced fumbles. [player_tooltip player_id="49716" first="Ty" last="Reishus"] – Mill Valley, 5’11”, 185, WR Reishus is a threat down the field. He has a good release off the line and he is capable of making tough catches. Reishus is a speedy receiver that could play in the slot or out wide. [player_tooltip player_id="25415" first="Matthew" last="Morrell"] – Bishop Carroll, 6’3”, 190, LB Morrell is capable of being a solid linebacker at the next level. He executes his assignments in pass coverage, and he has a nose for the ball in the run game. [player_tooltip player_id="35460" first="Caden" last="Parthemer"] – Andale, 6’2”, 195, LB The 3A Defensive Player of the Year made some noise in 2020. Parthemer was a headache for offenses all season long. He’s very good in pass coverage, and he flies to the football. Recruiters need to reach out to this backer. [player_tooltip player_id="35433" first="Mason" last="Haxton"] – Hoisington, 6’0”, 180, QB Haxton’s dual threat ability led him to a successful career at Hoisington. In his two years as a starter he led Hoisington to a 23-2 record, while accumulating over 2,400 all-purpose yards and 33 total touchdowns. If triple option offensive programs are looking for a quarterback; Haxton is their guy. [player_tooltip player_id="35473" first="Hayden" last="Robb"] – Perry-Lecompton, 5’11”, 220, LB Robb should be on multiple recruiter’s radars. The hard-hitting linebacker hit a milestone by eclipsing 500 career total tackles in 2020. He’s played a ton of snaps, and his physical style is built to stop the run. [player_tooltip player_id="35435" first="Trey" last="Worcester"] – Mill Valley, 6’0”, 190, DB Worcester could be a play maker on defense at the next level. He has the ability to play both safety and outside linebacker. During his senior year he racked up 54 total tackles; 7.5 being a loss, one sack, one interception and two forced fumbles. [player_tooltip player_id="35384" first="Ethan" last="Huber"] – Basehor-Linwood, 6’0”, 190, WR Huber was the second leading receiver for the Bobcats this past season. He made the most of the 47 passes he hauled in. Huber’s a reliable option in the slot, and a good blocker in the run game. [player_tooltip player_id="49761" first="Peyton" last="Wahlmeier"] – Colby, 6’4”, 225, TE Wahlmeier’s skills are raw, but he has the potential to blossom into a talented tight end. He has the frame and athleticism to do well. Could be a nice prospect for a program. [player_tooltip player_id="35454" first="Cayden" last="Winter"] – Andale, 6’0”, 220, OL/DL Winter may be a little undersized for a lineman, but he doesn’t let that hold him back. His combination of strength and his wrestling background allow him to drive back opposing lineman. I could see him transitioning to the defensive line in college. [player_tooltip player_id="100175" first="Joziah" last="Hill"] – Wichita Northwest, 6’2”, 185, DB Hill is a ball-hawk in the secondary. He will make teams think twice about throwing it deep. His length allows him to contest jump balls, and he does a good job of high pointing the football. [player_tooltip player_id="35462" first="Jacob" last="Rees"] – Andover Central, 5’10”, 185, ATH Rees split carries in the Jaguars’ backfield, but he was very effective when he touched the ball. He rushed for 768 yards with 10 touchdowns, while averaging an impressive 6.7 yards per carry. He’s a tough runner that would add good depth to a backfield. [player_tooltip player_id="35461" first="Dillon" last="Schobourgh"] – Andover, 6’1”, 240, DL Schobourgh is an athletic defensive end that explodes off the edge. He’s good about shedding blocks and quickly getting to the quarterback or ball carrier. I think he has the capability of playing outside linebacker as well. [player_tooltip player_id="49723" first="Josh" last="Sparks"] – Andover, 6’1”, 205, LB Sparks is another talented athlete from Andover. He could be an interesting prospect for some programs. Sparks is a skilled outside linebacker, but he has impressive film as a fullback as well. [player_tooltip player_id="100964" first="Gus" last="Campa"] – Sacred Heart, 6’2”, 240, DL Campa flew under the radar in 2020. While people slept on him, Campa piled up 45 total tackles; eight for a loss, and three sacks. He’s athletic and skilled enough to play both defensive tackle and defensive end. [player_tooltip player_id="35421" first="Caleb" last="VanDegrift"] – Scott City, 5’10”, 185, ATH Believe it or not, VanDegrift primarily lined up at defensive tackle during his senior year. He held his own at that position. VanDegrift used his athleticism and wrestling background to get through offensive lineman. I could see him switching to linebacker or safety at the next level though. [player_tooltip player_id="100875" first="Dylan" last="Rinker"] – McPherson, 6’2”, 210, QB Rinker absolutely balled out in his first year starting at quarterback. He threw for 2,425 yards with 27 touchdowns and only six interceptions; while completing an impressive 65% of his passes. This young man is only going to get better, and recruiters need to take notice of him. [player_tooltip player_id="100864" first="Jayden" last="Garrison"] – Little River, 6’2”, 180, ATH Garrison dominated the 8-Man Division I competition. He led Little River to a State Championship, and picked up the 8-Man Division I Offensive Player of the Year. Garrison is cable of playing multiple positions at the next level.
