Jordan Reed, 6’6″ 205lbs, Central Union HS
Reed recently transferred from Imperial to Central Union. He sizes up with a long, athletic frame with solid athleticism. He has a live arm with a fluid over the top release. He stands tall and displays good footwork in the pocket with poise. He goes through his progression and showed the ability to hit all 3 levels of throws with velocity or touch. He has good timing with his receivers and can get the ball out quick when he needs to, and fit the ball in tight windows. He’s flashed the ability to make plays on his feet given his athleticism, and reminds me of Justin Herbert. Definite FBS level talent that deserves to draw much more attention.
Jakob Harris, 6’2″ 225lbs, Oceanside HS
Harris moves well in the pocket and shows to go through progression nicely. He does an excellent job identifying favorable matchups pre-snap to get the ball to his playmakers quickly. He’s flashed the ability to hit tight window throws with velocity. He shows an excellent trajectory and placement on deep balls, oftentimes throwing receivers open. The southpaw has made some impressive throws on film and is a very accurate passer all around. He hods notable NAIA offers from Graceland and Saint Mary.
Carson Taumoepeau, 6’3″ 195lbs, Mt. Carmel HS
Taumoepeau is a tough kid, and does a good job hanging in the pocket to deliver accurate throws under pressure, oftentimes taking big hits. He shows good footwork overall and has shown the ability to use touch or velocity. He delivers throws with excellent accuracy. He’s shown the ability to pick up yards o his feet when he needs to, but seems to trust his arm more and keeps his priority as a passer. He has room to put on weight, and holds big potential going forward.
Travis Bennett, 6’6″ 215lbs, Vista HS
Bennett is a pro-style QB with a high football IQ. He is a very accurate passer and has shown the ability to finesse throws in between defenders. He has a big arm when he decides to let it fly, and does a good job going through progression. He does not force throws and he takes care of the ball very well, throwing only 1 INT in 12 games played his junior year. He’ll hit his checkdowns when he needs to and he has shown the ability to sidestep and buy slight time if he needs to.
Robbie Ramos, 6’2″ 200lbs, Escondido HS
Ramos is a dual-threat, improvisor type QB with a high ceiling. He moves fairly well in the pocket and does a good job of keeping his eyes downfield while remaining poised, but does his best work throwing off play action. He has shown the ability to evade pressure and get solid depth to deliver accurate throws, with a solid ability to extend plays. Ramos has a fluid throwing motion with a high release with velocity and timing with his receivers. He can pick up yards with his feet and is a good runner overall.
