FLORENCE-HENRY-- The Falcons came into 2020 with great expectations, and they played up to that level. One thing that really stood out to me about the Falcons was their strength of schedule within their region in 2020, playing the likes of Dell Rapids St. Marys (9B runner up), Britton-Hecla (2019 9A runner up), Hamlin (9AA runner up) and others. The Falcons in 2020 sent two players to play college football in top 200 prospect [player_tooltip player_id="56404" first="Charles" last="Kelly"] and Payton Gassman, who will both play college football at South Dakota’s newest college football program, Mount Marty.
QUICK NOTES

We take a look at the next-level prospects from the Florence-Henry Falcons . When we build our prospect lists, we lock in on players' evaluations about prospects that can get it done at the next level. We’ll also list some other key contributors who could be key assets in 2021 and beyond for the Falcons in our eyes.
NEXT-LEVEL PROSPECTS
[player_tooltip player_id="56458" first="Chase" last="Kelly"], Defensive Line (2022)

Kelly in pursuit is not something you want to take in if you are a quarterback. His burst off the line is exceptional and extremely forceful. His physical tackling ability is might be some of the most eruptive I have seen in 9-man football.
Kelly is a play to the whistle type of player and is a solid shedder off of defenders. Kelly also has strong next-level measurables at 6’2 270 pounds. I would love this kid to rip up some backfields in the Northern Sun. Top 20 2022 prospect.

Ashton Hanson, Running Back (2022)
I’ll admit it, the biggest miss on our 2022 rankings was having Ashton Hanson absent from our list. Hanson’s patient running ability is a big strength I see in my eyes. To go along with that, Hanson is a tailback that you might lose in between the tackles. Hanson is an excited runner that when he sees the space, he likes he just takes off with all the gas he has in the tank.
Hanson does a great job of being a physical back for his size and can gather those yards after contact. He had just over 1500 yards and 20 touchdowns in his junior campaign with that tough schedule I mentioned above. Hanson will for sure be on our next 2022 rankings update as he is another scholarship level player coming out of Florence-Henry.

[player_tooltip player_id="101170" first="Mehki" last="Keller"], Wide Receiver/Defensive Back (2023)
Keller stood out to me for his footwork on both sides of the football. His quick turning ability in his hips as a defensive back made him the fourth member of the Falcons on our Prep Redzone Dakotas rankings.
Keller is a versatile threat that, in my eyes, the Falcons could line up anywhere and find success. Keller, from a development standpoint, could work on his vertical. Keller also makes some strong cuts with the football in his hands.
