Camp and offer season is in full swing. I will detail the players in Central Ohio who are making headlines and garnering interest.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91519" first="Carter" last="Smith"]</strong> - Olentangy Liberty - OT - 6’6 270 - Long and athletic at left tackle. Quick out of his stance with a devastating punch. He is a technically sound run blocker on both inside and outside run. Handles the speed rush with ease and plays with a mean streak. Plays 3 sports and maintains a 3.1 GPA. 18 big time offers and counting this offseason.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91521" first="Jalen" last="Slappy"]</strong> - Eastmoor Academy - OT - 6’6 280 - Looks like your prototypical big time OT in college and plays like one as well. Comes off the ball low and fast with pop in the punch and lift in the hips. Good feet with drive in the knees. Very technically sound pass blocker who gets uses his long arms to his advantage. Sits well in his kick slides with good inside lean. Only 1 offer so far but more will be on the way.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91486" first="Eli" last="Coppess"]</strong> - Pickerington North - S/LB/Ath - 6’1 208 - 3.86 GPA and interest from many programs. One of the best players on the field all year long. At Safety he is very patient in his read and backpedal and diagnoses plays well. When he gets to the ball he brings his pads to the tackle. Goes up and attacks the ball in the air. Always is a threat to score and has good wiggle in the open field.
