One of the area that we have visited several times since the end of the 2020 season is northeast Florida – where Jacksonville programs have become the centerpiece of the region.
The talent that is coming out of the communities in and around Duval County is indeed something very special. Each season the colleges are paying more and more attention to the prospects in this area.
Today, we bring you five impressive football prospects who definitely have the chance to be very special this coming season:
2022 -Rashaud Clark, Jr., WR/CB, Jacksonville Englewood. In a season that was indeed not the best for this program, here is someone who turned out to be a bright spot. A very athletic and versatile football talent, who can play on either side of the ball – and came up big for this program over and over again. His 42 receptions for 651 yards and seven scores – on top of 535 yards and two scores showed how gifted he is as a return specialist.

2022 – Micah Pollard, Jr., OLB, St. John’s Bartram Trail. After a record-setting season for this quality football talent, he is ready to head toward his final season for a Bears’ team that is loaded with impressive underclassmen, who truly made an impression this past season. Putting up huge numbers – that included 11 sacks, 22 tackles for loss and a pair of forced fumbles. In addition, he came up with an interception and was a huge force for this team in 2020 – as they finished among the top top eight 8A teams.

With two full seasons left to play and continue to impress, this tremendous prospect led the Raiders with 1,150 yards and seven touchdowns in a year where the team only played eight games. Already considered one of the elite football players for the 2021 season.
