2021 National Signing Day: D1 In-State Signees

After a chaotic 2021 COVID season, well over 20 Arizona athletes signed D1 NLI to play college football, with a big majority of them heading to Flagstaff to play ball at Northern Arizona University. Take a look at the Arizona D1 signees: <img class="alignright wp-image-82232" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/redzone/uploads/2020/12/arizona-st.png" alt="" width="168" height="168" /> <strong>Colby Garvin</strong>, <em>TE/WR, Queen Creek HS</em>: <strong>Arizona State University</strong> Garvin has a solid frame at 6’6" 210lbs with strong hands to haul in contested catches. He was too big, athletic, and physical for DB’s to man up on him, making him a big mismatch throughout the season. He possesses solid length with a large catch radius and holds massive potential going forward. [player_tooltip player_id="93274" first="Mo" last="Sarnowski"], <em>LB, Hamilton HS:</em> <strong>Northern Arizona University</strong> Sarnowski is a very tough kid with a high football IQ at LB. He does a great job at shedding blocks quickly to make plays, and can also be an effective pass rusher. Solid closing speed with a good striking ability as a tackler and is very strong at the POA. He’s a complete DB all across the board. He holds impressive athleticism with position versatility, and is believed to play the "viper" position at UofA. Highly touted kid with massive potential. <strong>CJ Flores,</strong> <em>DB, Cienega HS:</em> <strong>Northern Arizona University </strong> Flores will bring excellent athleticism all across the board to NAU. He sheds blocks well and closes nicely on ball carriers. He shows goo short area quickness and is a fly around player. He was also a solid RB at Cienega, showing a good initial burst through the hole with a low pad level. He moves around well in the pocket and has the ability to hit all 3 levels of throws with velocity or touch. Very good arm strength overall and a legit gunslinger.
