Ohio Class of 2022 – WR’s 7-10 Rankings Explained

The Buckeye State is loaded at the WR position in 2022.  I will detail those ranked 7-10 in our latest rankings at PrepRedzone. 7. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="34478" first="Seth" last="Myers"]</strong> - Lebanon - 6’1 195 - Garnering interest this recruiting season.  Has started with the Varsity team since his Freshman year.  Great fundamentals pre snap: stance is loaded up, hands are in great position, and eyes are in the correct place.  He explodes on the snap and gets to the top end of his break very quickly.  Transitions well into the route.  Catches the ball in front of his body and bursts downfield.  He is very fast and athletic and sprints away from defenders.  Has the wiggle to beat man coverage.  Has the speed to take the top off.  Has the twitch to make the spectacular plays. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/6595881/Seth-Parker-Myers 8. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="34407" first="Brandon" last="White"] </strong>- Archbishop Moeller - 5’9 170 - Has 1 offer to date.  Brandon plays in the slot and is a force.  He only played 2 games his Jr. season due to injury.  He is one of the fastest players on the field.  He is a nightmare to man cover.  Runs really precise intermediate and deep routes and can make the spectacular catch.  Very versatile player and is used in a number of capacities: punt returner, KO returner, jet sweeps, and option game.  Reminds me of a Tyreek Hill type player. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11524628/Brandon-White 9. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91557" first="Drew" last="Ramsey"] </strong>- Elder - 6’0 190 - Has 2 offers on the table so far.  He is one of the best players in one of Ohio’s best conferences.  Dominates at the X to the boundary, is a matchup nightmare in the slot, and is utilized at QB in the Wildcat.  Very smooth runner with vision and burst.  He runs behind his pads when he has too and has a good stiff arm.  Playmaker who has to be taken away every play.  Very impressive all around football player. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/13084057/Drew-Ramsey 10. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="34446" first="Kenyon" last="Owens"] </strong>- Chaminade Julienne - 6’1 190 - Certainly has recruiting interest this offseason.  Kenyon plays all the WR positions at a really high level.  He is athletic, fast, twitchy, and has wiggle like few others in the conference.  Runs precise routes and separates from the coverage.  Makes the routine catches with ease and has the ability to make the spectacular plays.  Impressive football player out of the Dayton area.
