2022 Defensive back Khary Shaw, Brother Rice, IL (6’2” and 205lbs) @KharyShaw
Shaw should probably be labelled as an athlete, he has the hands to be a big time receiver also. He has elite hip motion, which is why Shaw would be much more valuable on the defensive side.

Big time size and athleticism, Shaw continues to get better and better. He as good/great last time I saw him, this time Shaw looked elite. There is an attitude that corner need to live on an island, Shaw has it and will succeed at the Power 5 level. He is going to terrorize offenses when he arrives on a college campus.
2022 Defensive back Saveon Brown Saveon Brown 6'1" | 195 lbs | DB Thornwood | 2022 State IL , Thornwood, IL (6’1” and 196lbs) @Saenext
Brown was in the same group as Shaw, which was very bad news for the receiver group. He is another player that continues to improve each time I see him workout. Brown has a frame that is college ready right now, you can tell he puts his time into the weight room. His long arms give receivers issues, batting away passes and not allowing any separation. Brown is not afraid to come up and press either, he’s got great footwork and a very strong punch. Brown should see his recruitment blow up as soon as a season happens.
2022 Defensive back Mark (MJ) Cannon, Evanston, IL (6’3” and 190lbs) @MarkCannonJr1
Long and athletic, Cannon stands out due to his elite size at the position. He will be able to fill out as he gets older, Cannon’s frame make him look lean at the moment. This was the first time I have seen Cannon in person, immediately I was impressed with his ability. He’s chatting with some D1 schools at the moment, but no offers, that needs to change ASAP.
2022 Cornerback Bryce Llewellyn Bryce Llewellyn 5'11" | 200 lbs | DB Cathedral | 2022 State IN , Cathedral HS, IN (5’11” and 200lbs) @LlewellynBryce
Physical, compact cornerback, Llewellyn has the elite hips your looking for in a corner. That’s not where it ends with him, great feet and wow, a big time punch at the line of scrimmage against opposing receivers.
A great battle between @LlewellynBryce and @JacobBostick5 both showed very high upside pic.twitter.com/R6a81dD50I

Very technically sound, Llewellyn seems very comfortable being left on an island, he has the skills to do so. This young man is about to blow up with more performances like this.
2022 Cornerback Shawn Lodge, St. Vincent St. Mary, OH (5’10” and 168lbs) @slodge03
I really like Lodge’s game, he quick and strong at the point of attack. Although he is a bit smaller than some of the receivers he faced, Lodge was able to use his solid technique to negate the size disadvantage. He made a great play on 1v1s resulting in a pick. Playing for a powerhouse Ohio school certainly helps his development, we all know who came out of SVSM. I wish he was closer so I could see him in game action, but was very happy for him to make the trip out. Lodge is getting a lot of local MAC attention, he should eventually start getting some P5 love.
2022 Linebacker Carson Eggebraten Carson Eggebraten 6'0" | 220 lbs | LB Saint Viator | 2022 State IL , St. Viator, IL (6’1” and 215lbs) @CEggebraten
This young man is putting on a ton of muscle, since the last time I saw him, Eggebraten has put on about 15-pounds of muscle. He looks like what a middle linebacker should be. Eggebraten moves well and has good feet. These kind of events don’t really show how good of a player he is, an absolute hammer in the run game. He is getting some D1 interesting and rightfully so, Eggebraten is getting better each day.
2022 Linebacker Christian Eubanks, Warren Township, IL (6’ and 185lbs) @EubanksChris8
Eubanks position will solely depend on how his body fills out. Right now he is undersized as a linebacker, but has the skills to play the position. He is a bit lean, with plenty of room to add on muscle. Eubanks is strong at the attack, pushing around some of the running backs he faced. Right now he’s getting some MAC attention and with a big junior year, that will grow.
2022 Linebacker Jake Gassaway, Millard South, NE (6’2” and 191lbs) @jake_gassaway
Along with Gage Stenger, the two teammates made waves during the showcase. Gassaway was fast and twitchy, with plenty of room to fill out his frame. Once he does that, he will be a very good coverage outside ‘backer. Good feet and hands, Gassaway will just get better as time goes on. Right now he’s hearing from Wyoming, S. Dakota and N. Iowa and more should be calling.
2023 Linebacker Tyler Jansey, Batavia, IL (6’1” and 212lbs) @TylerJansey
A very high ceiling for Jansey, great frame and showed a good skill set during the 1v1 portion. The coverage skills really shined there, running backs had a hard time keeping up with the talented sophomore. He’s gotten better since I last saw him in September, which is not surprising, Jansey is a hard worker. Once he has new film, teams will start to take notice and his recruitment will take off.
2022 Linebacker James McCabe, Loyola, IL (6’2” and 205lbs) @jamiemccabe47
Coverage skills were excellent for McCabe, he grabbed a pick during the 1v1 portion. He’s got a fantastic frame, one that has room to continue to add good weight on to. Although McCabe plays the middle spot, he could very well end up on the outside due to the coverage skills. I like the upside for this linebacker, another guy that when new tape comes out, his recruitment should explode.
2022 Linebacker Dylan Rogers, Rich Township, IL (6’ and 205lbs) @Dy_Rogers22
Strong and muscular, Rogers moves very well for a linebacker. He might eventually become a safety at the next level, but Rogers is still a very talented player. He played the pass well, again events like these really don’t show how good linebackers are. Focus on his goal, Rogers just wants to get better as a player and it’s starting to show. I look forward to seeing him when he’s padded up and hitting people.
