Adrian Zepeda, 5’10” 175lbs, LB, Muir HS
Zepeda racked up 11 sacks as a junior last season, but proved to be much more than a lethal pass rusher. He has excellent instincts and is elusive in tight spaces. His timing on blitzes is top tier, as he is extremely quick and shoots through gaps oftentimes untouched. It is highly impressive for a guy his size to penetrate through gaps as good as he does. He shows excellent short area quickness with good flexibility all around. Zepeda is a playmaker on the defensive side of the ball, and needs to draw some attention ASAP.
Lando Brown, 6’0″ 230lbs, LB/DE, Junipero Serra HS
Brown shows the ability to utilize power, finesse, dip, or a spin move to get into the backfield. He reminds me a lot of a young Dwight Freeney. He has solid short area quickness and possesses both upper and lower body strength. He shows quick, athletic hands and does a great job attacking the mesh point on RPO’s to blow up plays. He has solid reaction overall, and has shown the ability to take blocks head on, including pass-pro RB’s, and run through opponents to make plays. Good physicality with a solid striking ability, making him a legit tone setter.
Aric Eades, 6’2″ 240lbs, DE, San Joaquin Memorial HS
Eades accumulated 12 sacks last season, and lined up primarily as a down DE in a 3-5-3 stack. He displayed athletic hands with excellent flexibility and balance to keep a low pad level around the edge. Eades was effective with both inside and outside finesse moves to frequently get into opposing backfields. Strong kid overall and plays til the whistle. He holds notable offers from Black Hills State, Columbia, Southwest Minnesota State, Bethel, Whittier, and Morehead State.
Christian Threadgill, 6’4″ 185lbs, DE, Sierra HS
Threadgill racked up 19 sacks in 14 games played in the 2019 season. He has excellent length with much room to put on weight. He displays excellent athleticism and bend at DE and utilizes a lethal dip and rip move against opponents to frequently cause havoc in he backfield. He has also showed flashes of violent hands and solid overall power to knock opponents backward, giving him the potential to become a lethal pass rusher. He holds notable offers from Puget Sound, Pacific Lutheran, Culver Stockton, Arizona Christian, Pacific University, and Whittier College.
Michael Richter, 6’0″ 215lbs, LB/DE, Santana HS
Richter accumulated 19.5 sacks as a junior, setting the school sack record. Richter is your gritty, fearless, fly around player that plays with a mean streak. He has solid play recognition and did a great job shedding or disengaging from blocks to make plays. He plays with a high motor and plays til the whistle. He doesn’t have a notable offer as of yet, and would be a solid fit at the D3 level.
