Jack Tremblay #15 (SB, WR) – Lincoln-Way East – Class of 2021
Tremblay has HUGE playmaking abilities for Lincoln-Way East with his top-notch speed making defenders missing and blowing by the second level of defenders. He has a quick burst off the line of scrimmage where he blows by defenders making him a deep threat where he takes the top off and mosses people. He is also a deadly return man with his speed and ability to read blocks. He can make the catches on the sideline with his toe tap and can easily turn a five-yard hitch route into a seventy-plus yard touchdown. There is no doubt in my mind that Tremblay will make All-Conference, All-Area, and has the ability to make All-State.
Sean Allen Sean Allen 5'9" | 190 lbs | RB Homewood Flossmoor | 2021 IL #5 (RB) – Homewood Flossmoor – Class of 2021
Allen was a DOMINANT force last season finishing with 2,042 rushing yards for 24 touchdowns and 106 receptions for 1 touchdown. He also holds his school’s rushing yards in a season record and this is easily seen with his speed and acceleration. He bursts past defenders on the second level even with his North/South running style. He attacks the running lanes head-on, reads his blocks, and bursts through the holes his lineman created for him. He has great body control and change of direction which allows him to get past defenders. He also has good hands and can be utilized in the passing game. Allen is a special talent that I can see being invited to an All-American game and being highly recruited at the D-1 level.
Quinn Kelly #44 (TS, LS) – Lockport Township – Class of 2021
Kelly is a solid TE for Lockport Township, he has great hands and has quick reaction time that allows him to adjust to the ball last second. He is good in open space running defenders over to get those extra yards. He is a solid blocker in the passing and running game pancaking defenders. In the passing game, he high points the ball and plays through contact. Kelly is a key player for Lockport’s offense and look for him to build upon last season.
Kevin Zimmer Kevin Zimmer 6'3" | 230 lbs | QB Sandburg | 2022 State IL #46 (QB, TE) – Sandburg – Class of 2022
Zimmer is going to be one of the top QBs in this conference while he is on varsity. He has a nice touch on his deep and medium passes that looks like it’s floating in the air as it makes its way down into the receiver’s basket. He throws a tight spiral and has solid footwork while in the pocket. Zimmer is mobile and isn’t afraid to lower his shoulder to play through contact. He does look to pass first and runs as a last resort or if it is a designed run play for him. He has good acceleration and with his time spent a tight end he can block as well as catch the ball. Zimmer will look to be the starting QB for Sandburg for the coming years. The ceiling is high and it is only up from here for Zimmer, look for his name in All-Conference reports and for All-Area as well.
Vincenzo Meschi Vincenzo Meschi 6'2" | 195 lbs | QB Bolingbrook | 2021 IL #14 (QB) – Boolingbrook – Class of 2021
Meschi is one of the top QB’s in Illinois, he has a nice touch on the deep ball and can make the back shoulder throw with ease. His three-step drop is solid and he gets his feet set before he throws the ball. He’s athletic as seen with his speed and acceleration. He has a solid arm and good zip on the ball making those throws in the tight window. Meschi puts the ball in the WR basket and if need be can be mobile scrambling for the first down if the pocket collapses. Meschi looks to have a big season cementing his name in college scouts’ eyes to play at the next level.
These athletes all make big plays for their teams and play a major part in the offensive schemes. All of these athletes have that big playmaking ability in their own regard. It’s not a matter of can they make plays rather one of how many plays are they going to make in each game.
