Ohio Division 1 All State Team 2020 – Defense

The Buckeye State did not disappoint this year with big time talent and performances out of Division 1.  The following players represent the 1st Team Defense: DL: <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="34225" first="Dontay" last="Corleone"]</strong> - Colerain - 6’2 325 (2021) - Signed to Cincinnati.  Defensive Player of the Year in the conference.  Extremely athletic and aggressive. DL: <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="34203" first="Hammond" last="Russell"]</strong> - Dublin Coffman - 6’4 240 (2021) - Signed to West Virginia.  Absolute beast of a defensive end.  Wreaks havoc for opposing offenses. DL: <strong>Giovanni Albanese</strong> - St. Xavier - 6’0 255 (2021) - Uncommitted at this point. Stats were off the charts this season.  He is extremely disruptive and atletic. DL: <strong>Manny Powel</strong>l - Canton McKinley - 6’2 245 (2022) - Uncommitted at this point.  Had 81 tackles this season from the DE position.  Very quick and physical player who will be a big time player as a senior. LB: <strong>Matt Devine</strong> - St. Xavier - 6’0 220 (2021) - Signed with Air Force.  Had 109 tackles this season for the State Champs.  He was all over the field and affects the game in a number of ways. LB: <strong>CJ Hankins</strong> - St. Edward - 5’11 220 (2021) - Signed with Georgetown.  114 tackles this season and one of the best players in the conference.  He reads blocks very well and is almost always around the ball. LB: <strong>Zeke Healy</strong> - Westerville Central - 5’11 200 (2021) - Uncommitted at this point.  Two time Defensive Player of the Year in the OCC. DB: <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="34316" first="Cam" last="Smith"]</strong> - Euclid - 6’2 180 (2021) - Signed with Eastern Michigan.  He is very technique sound and athletic.  Returned two interceptions for TD’s this year. DB: <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="34383" first="Delian" last="Bradley"]</strong> - Springfield - 6’0 185 (2022) - Has 12 offers on the table.  6 interceptions and 66 tackles this season. DB: <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="34257" first="Michael" last="Gravely"]</strong> - Euclid - 6’1 197 (2021) - Signed with Michigan State.  He is one of the best players in the state and teams routinely stayed away from him. DB: <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="34206" first="Garner" last="Wallace"]</strong> - Pickerington Central - 6’5 195 (2021) - Signed with Northwestern.  Two way superstar for a team loaded with Division 1 talent.  Rangy and athletic and tops off the defense with great technique and playmaking ability.
