It wasn’t that long ago when the state of Oregon produced 5-10 D1 athletes per year. How things have changed. As of right now we have 26 athletes who are either committed or have been offered by division 1 universities. Have a look at the guys who I would project to potentially be offered next at that level.

Jalen Grable 6-4 210 WR Westview- Grable took a year off football to exclusively play hoops after starting as a freshman. He recently had an unreal performance at the National Preps Collegiate Showcase event in Eugene, where he put himself back on the map. This is a legit 6-4 and 4.4ish laser (40 yard dash) kid. Once the word gets back out he will be a big time D1 guy. Ask his trainer Aaron Woods.
[player_tooltip player_id="28788" first="Slade" last="Shufelt"] 6-2 220 LB Hillsboro- It’s a borderline crime this kid hasn’t been offered yet as he tests off the charts and is an unquestioned D1 athlete. He earned 1st team all-league honors at RB as a Junior and is a legit 3* type kid now.
[player_tooltip player_id="28715" first="Jeremiah" last="Noga"] 6-3 190 WR Hidden Valley- Another guy who I would consider an unquestioned D1 kid. Noga MVP’d the National Preps Collegiate Showcase event at WR among 400 athletes attendance. His 18 catches for 270 yards in last year’s 3A title game was eye opening.
[player_tooltip player_id="28720" first="Blake" last="DeBisschop"] 6-4 190 QB West Linn- We have talked about Blake A LOT and for good reason. He has D1 genes and will end up playing at that level. DeBisschop sat behind state statistical leader Ethan Coleman last season but should thrive playing for former NFL QB and top Oregon coach Chris Miller.
Emilio Castaneda 6-2 275 G Hood River- Oregon’s breakout lineman of the year, and someone Line Pro’s Alex Linnenkohl calls a D1 kid. Potentially even a Sunday guy. A bold statement but noteworthy coming from a former pro and three year All Pac 10 lineman.
[player_tooltip player_id="28722" first="Jake" last="Hannah"] 6-4 300 T North Bend- Hannah has gone somewhat under the radar but brings legit size and overall athleticism to the table, while earning 1st team all-conference accolades as a Junior. Another kid who would benefit a great deal from some senior game film.
[player_tooltip player_id="28723" first="Andrew" last="Simpson"] 6-1 170 DB/ATH Mountainside- Not a lot of people know about Simpson. He is one of the most versatile and talented kids in all of Oregon and a big reason I consider the Mavericks a legit state title contender.
[player_tooltip player_id="28743" first="Connor" last="Stevens"] 6-3 215 LB Sunset- I really like Stevens. He is incredibly intelligent and brings a lot to the table with his size and speed. Connor earned 1st team All-Metro honors as a Junior and should draw heavy interest from the Ivy’s and other high end academic D1s.
[player_tooltip player_id="28789" first="Flynn" last="Schiele"] 6-4 190 WR West Linn- At times Schiele is the most impressive player on the field. He possesses size and has looked outstanding at off season events. It wouldn’t surprise me to see him listed as a multi offer D1 athlete.
[player_tooltip player_id="28759" first="Kaanan" last="Huffman"] 6-4 225 DE West Linn- The Lions are loaded and will be an unquestioned 6A #1 team. Huffman should get in the mix on both sides of the football but projects on D collegiately. Look for him to separate himself with his overall athleticism coming off the edge.
[player_tooltip player_id="28731" first="Ty" last="Delgado"] 6-2 275 DL Parkrose- The NWOC lineman of the year is incredibly talented. The question becomes a size thing and what position he plays at the next level. Delgado is an outstanding student (4.1) and provides schools with options due to his versatility.
[player_tooltip player_id="28740" first="Kanen" last="Rossi"] 6-3 280 G Sunset- One of the most fundamentally sound lineman in the entire Northwest. He had a nice junior year and good off season thus far. He would definitely benefit from a senior year worth of film, with a talented group of Apollos around him.
