The 2020 Michigan high school football season was back in action throughout the weekend and the opening week of the playoffs was filled with impressive performances. Here are some of the top performers from across the state in the 2021 class.

Hindenach had the performance of the week by setting the Paw Paw program records for most yards in a single game and for a player’s career. The senior rushed for 343 yards and three touchdowns in a dominant 44-7 win over Otsego. He doesn’t have great speed, but he has good size and shows great power. He is a very underrated player that holds just two offers from Siena Heights and Madonna.

Terry was highly efficient Friday night in a 61-26 win over Grand Haven. The senior speedster carried the ball just 15 times, but accounted for 301 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. He holds a ton of offers, which includes Davenport, Concordia Ann Arbor, Siena Heights, Hope and Trine.

DeVries is an intriguing prospect due to his unique combination of size, hands and ball skills. He had eight catches for 146 yards and a touchdown in a 54-6 win over Galesburg-Augusta. He holds offers from Dayton, Butler, Northwood, Valparaiso, Lake Erie and many more schools.
[player_tooltip player_id="29691" first="Tyson" last="Edmondson"] | QB | Ann Arbor Huron
Huron couldn’t get much going on the ground, but Edmondson got the job done through the air. He completed 16-of-30 passes for 273 yards and two touchdowns in a big win over 23-19 win over Kalamazoo Central. The win broke a 20 year playoff drought, which will hopefully turn some eyes towards Edmondson. He holds no football offers, but he is currently committed to playing basketball at Lake Superior State.
