We are finishing up Week 5 of a six-week regular season in New Jersey. There has been some breakout performances this season and that will continue on Saturday.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27865" first="Audric" last="Estime"] (2021) | St. Joe’s Montvale</strong>
Estime has been one of the best running backs in the state this season which is no surprise. Estime is a complete running back who can do it all with the ball in his hands. He is running behind an elite offensive line led by [player_tooltip player_id="27863" first="Geno" last="VanDeMark"] and that magic will continue this week.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27999" first="Devion" last="Sheppard"] (2022) | West Side</strong>
After losing their season opener, West Side has won their last three averaging about 50 points for game. Their junior quarterback has yet to turn the ball over this season. He has thrown nine touchdowns and no interceptions this season. Sheppard is one of the underrated weapons in the state this season.
<strong>Jonghun Jeong (2022) | Tenafly</strong>
Tenafly is off to a 4-0 start this season. Their defense has been flying. They have given up just 12 points this seasonin four games. JJeong is the leader of the defense and will be an intriguing prospect over the next two years. He is a reliable tackler with great speed in the middle of the field.
<strong>Jayden Young (2023) | St. Thomas Aquinas</strong>
Young is one of a few sophomores who have stepped in for the Trojans and turned them into a contender. At quarterback, Young has thrown for 640 yards and eight touchdowns. He is showing his ability to make every throw on the field and win using his arm.
<strong>Savon Myers (2022) | Manchester Township</strong>
It has been a complete turnaround for Manchester Township this season. They are 3-1 through four games this season and it is because of their junior quarterback. Myers has thrown for 484 yards and six touchdowns without an interception. Myers will continue to grow in this program and as a player on the field.
