You can now check out the top 75 juniors in Oklahoma. Starting today, we'll have more breakdowns on some of those top juniors in the state. This post will take a look at five prospects who's stock is certainly going up after getting out to fast starts to the season. [player_tooltip player_id="38679" first="Braylin" last="Presley"] - Running Back - Bixby One of the most electric players in the state, regardless of class this season has been Bixby running back [player_tooltip player_id="38679" first="Braylin" last="Presley"]. Last week, we added Presley to our Player Of The Year Watchlist after he ran for over 300 yards and six touchdowns in a win over Carl Albert. We knew that Presley would be one of the more dynamic running backs in the state this season. However, we didn't anticipate the massive impact he would have on this Bixby offense. In addition to the obvious impact he has as a running back, Presley is also Bixby's leading receiver. A lot of those receptions come out of the backfield or on simple bubble screens. But he also runs routes and makes plays downfield in the passing game. Presley doesn't have your prototypical size that you'd like from his position. But neither did his older brother Brennan, who's a freshman at Oklahoma State now. Braylin is just as electric as Brennan was. Size questions are irrelevant with the Presleys. [player_tooltip player_id="38610" first="Caden" last="Powell"] - Athlete - Clinton One of the more underrated athletes in the 2022 class is Clinton junior [player_tooltip player_id="38610" first="Caden" last="Powell"]. The junior standout plays both sides of the ball for the traditional powerhouse Reds. On offense, he's your typical athlete playing quarterback. He's not going to be setting any passing records but he can make things happen with arm. He's usually the best athlete on the field every time he steps on the field. On defense, we love his game as a linebacker. In fact, that's where we see his game projecting to at the next level. However, there's a good reason that Powell has flown under the radar and isn't considered one of the top defensive prospects in this 2022 class. He's an Oklahoma baseball commit and he's been committed for quite a while. It appears that his future might be as a baseball player but we can't help but wonder how many schools are missing out on a possible two-sport star because they think he's just baseball at the next level. [player_tooltip player_id="38671" first="Carson" last="May"] - Quarterback - Jones Similar to Presley at Bixby, Jones quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="38671" first="Carson" last="May"] has also gotten out to a fast start and finds himself on our Player Of The Year Watchlist. There was certainly a lot of hype around May coming into this season after the promising start to his career. He's backed it up completely with his play on the field. And when it comes to the quarterback position, in terms of college prospects, May is hands down the best quarterback prospect in Oklahoma right now, regardless of class. Like all prospects, he has areas of his game where he needs to continue to grow. A lot of his passing numbers are short passes where the receiver picks up a lot of YAC. However, seeing May in person back in September, we could not be more impressed with his arm talent. He makes throws that only D1 quarterbacks make. And the consistency in which he makes them is what sets him apart. He makes these throws in a clean pocket, under pressure or on the run. [player_tooltip player_id="48668" first="Gavin" last="Freeman"] - Wide Receiver - Heritage Hall I knew about [player_tooltip player_id="48668" first="Gavin" last="Freeman"] coming into the season and was impressed with the offseason work he had put in. However, I was still skeptical about his long term projection as a prospect. I wanted to see how he would do this season on a Heritage Hall team that had some serious firepower. I also wanted to have a chance to see him in person and not just on film. Freeman is the real deal. In our opinion, he's emerged as Heritage Hall's best player and they use him accordingly. Whether it's on offense, defense or all areas of special teams, Freeman is an absolute game changer for the Chargers. He comes from a football family and has a high game IQ. Long term, we like him on the offensive side of the ball when it comes to the next level. He's your prototypical slot wide receiver at the next level and he's going to be one of those players that is a safety blanket for your team and a nightmare match-up for opposing teams. [player_tooltip player_id="61126" first="Tre'Vaughn" last="Walton"] - Running Back - Lawton Eisenhower We have some absolute playmakers in Class 5A this season and one player that might be flying under the radar a little bit is Lawton Eisenhower running back [player_tooltip player_id="61126" first="Tre'Vaughn" last="Walton"]. However, throw on the tape if you haven't gotten the chance to see this playmaker in person and be impressed. Walton is an absolute weapon on this Lawton Ike offense and the Eagles would certainly be struggling if Walton wasn't able to make plays for them. He makes them a team that is in contention for a playoff spot. Coming into the 2020 season, we didn't know much about Walton but we've learned pretty quickly. In fact, it didn't take long for us to know that Walton would end up being pretty high up when the rankings were updated. Some of his numbers that he put up in August and September are some of the best in 5A football. In a 2020 class that is deep at the running back position, Walton is certainly one that's on the rise.
