You can now check out the top 75 juniors in Oklahoma. Continuing today, we’ll have more breakdowns on some of those top juniors in the state. This post will take a look at five of the best quarterbacks in the current junior class. [player_tooltip player_id="52273" first="Ben" last="Harman"] - Cashion Cashion’s [player_tooltip player_id="52273" first="Ben" last="Harman"] has made a big jump from his sophomore season to right now as he has become one of the leaders on this Cashion offense. We really like the growth he’s made as a passer over the last 12 months. Harman certainly has the genetics to be one of the better quarterbacks in this group. Older brother Matt was a standout for Cashion a few seasons ago. We still believe that had Matt not been hurt, there was a good chance that he would have broken the state’s all time passing record. But something that sets Ben apart from his brother is his confidence level. The younger Harman looks like a stone cold killer out there as he’s torching defenses. It’s impressive to watch. [player_tooltip player_id="38687" first="Gage" last="Hamm"] - Coweta The second best quarterback in the state’s 2022 class is Coweta’s [player_tooltip player_id="38687" first="Gage" last="Hamm"]. While the top spot goes to Jones QB [player_tooltip player_id="38671" first="Carson" last="May"] and you can read more about him in our Stock Risers piece, we have been very impressed with the jump that Hamm has made from sophomore to junior year. We came into the season believing that Hamm had the potential to be this type of quarterback for Coweta but we wanted to see it on the field. He has size, he has a great arm and he’s not afraid to tuck it and run. He’s helped Coweta emerge as one of the top teams and specifically one of the top offenses in 5A football. Hamm is certainly a QB that is rising and rising fast. [player_tooltip player_id="38725" first="Nate" last="Ratcliff"] - Adair Out of all the quarterbacks in the 2022 class, few have as much experience as Adair quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="38725" first="Nate" last="Ratcliff"]. The lefty Warrior quarterback has been slinging it all over the field for Adair for several seasons now. He’s also shown the ability to tuck the ball and run. Adair has had a good run of quarterbacks in the last decade that continue to put up monster numbers as Adair continues to be one of the top scoring offenses in Oklahoma. However, Ratcliff isn’t just a system quarterback. He has a very strong skillset and has grown as a passer over the last few seasons. The thing that has impressed us the most has been the accuracy in his passes down the field. [player_tooltip player_id="61144" first="Scott" last="Pfieffer"] - Edmond Santa Fe Before the 2020 season, when you talked with people around the Edmond Santa Fe program, they suggested that the Wolves would be in a great spot with [player_tooltip player_id="61144" first="Scott" last="Pfieffer"] taking over at quarterback. So far this season, the junior Santa Fe quarterback hasn’t disappointed. Full disclosure, it certainly helps Pfieffer having the best junior wide receiver in the state to throw to in [player_tooltip player_id="38667" first="Talyn" last="Shettron"]. He also has a couple other dangerous weapons to distribute the ball to. However, just because he has weapons, doesn’t mean he’s a top QB in the class. He has to back it up with his play on the field and he absolutely has done that. We’re looking forward to seeing how the Pfieffer-Shettron connection continues to grow. [player_tooltip player_id="48987" first="Triton" last="Chandler"] - Victory Christian The one quarterback on this list that was under the radar coming into this season was Victory Christian’s [player_tooltip player_id="48987" first="Triton" last="Chandler"]. We should have known that we could expect him to make an instant impact and he certainly has. Chandler and Victory Christian are in their first year under new head coach Ben Palmer, who comes to Oklahoma from Louisiana, where he led one of the top offenses over the last few seasons. Chandler has absolutely excelled in the offensive scheme and has shown the ability to be another dangerous duel-threat option at quarterback in this 2022 class. While he doesn’t have the experience as the first three QB’s on this list, he’s one on the rise.
