Brayden McKenna | RB | Lapeer
McKenna may have had the most impressive performance of the week in Lapeer’s 39-21 win over Flint Powers. The junior gained 301 all-purpose yards and scored four touchdowns. He is one of the better running backs in the 2022 class and he’ll certainly get himself on college radars with more standout performances like this.
Malachi Clark | DL | Roseville
Clark didn’t have a big night on the stat sheet, but he was in the backfield all night long. He disrupted Cousino’s offense throughout the game and made a couple of impressive tackles for a loss. This is a player with the size and potential to become a D1 recruit by the season’s end.
Cole Lacanaria Cole Lacanaria 5'8" | 140 lbs | WR Brother Rice | 2022 MI | WR | Brother Rice
The Warriors may have lost a close game to rival Catholic Central, but their star receiver had another really good week. The junior made key plays all night that kept his team in the game. He scored both Brother Rice touchdowns by using his quickness and speed to shake Shamrock defenders on his way to the end zone.
