Storybook ending for the Pioneers of Orange last night. 3 seconds on the clock they converted a hook-and-lateral play to come from behind and beat Hilliard Bradley 37-28.
Olentangy Orange Offense
#12 Josh Laisure (Sr.) QB, 6-0 170 - Laisure was on point all night long. He has good command of the offense and spreads the ball around effectively. His spirals are tight and thrown with accuracy. He is fleet of foot and dangerous in the open field. Had 102 yards on the ground and completed the critical game winning pass. He is also a very good baseball prospect.
#4 Caden Konczak (Sr.) WR, 5-9 170 - Caden had the play of the night; he raced into the endzone as time expired after receiving the lateral thrown by Laisure. Effected the game rushing and receiving. He is a great athlete who can help a college program in multiple ways.

#35 Isaac Campbell (Jr.) RB, 6-1 220 - Isaac had 94 yards on 21 carries against a stout defensive front 7. He really ran behind his pads well, grinding out first downs. I am really impressed with his ability to run over defenders and convert first downs when called upon. He showed great leadership last night.

Hilliard Bradley Offense
#7 [player_tooltip player_id="34179" first="Jack" last="Pugh"] (Sr.) TE, 6-5 235 - Jack is going to Ohio State. He is one of the best TE’s in the country and showed why last night. He finished with 5 catches, 96 yards, and 2 TD’s.

#4 AJ Mirgon (Sr.) QB, 5-11 185 - AJ is a stud dual threat QB. He is very dangerous with the ball in his hands. You have to account for him in the run and pass on every play. He had some real explosive runs as well as touch on the ball to multiple receivers. Receiving basketball offers but could easily be a two-sport star in college.

#3 [player_tooltip player_id="34422" first="Tayshaun" last="Mayfield"] (Jr.) WR, 6-2 200 - Big target at the receiver position. Technically he is very sound and runs precise routes. He can effect the game through the air and on jet sweeps. Catches the ball with hands and eyes out in front of the body. Can separate from DB’s in the open field. Overall a very good athlete.

#70 Yaser Awale (Sr.) OL, 6-0 260 - Plays multiple positions on the OL. He is a knee bender with good explosion and power from the center and guard position. He understands how to use his hands and generates power from the hips. Keeps his feet churning through the blocks.
