The Junior class put up some big games in Week 3. Here are some of the performers that caught our eyes.

[player_tooltip player_id="27612" first="Cade" last="Yacamelli"] - Penn Trafford - WR: The slot WR has speed for days and is very explosive in the return game. He put up a 4 TD performance against Shaler and was a nightmare for that defensive coordinator all night. He has the ability to stretch the field and the quickness to line up in the slot and make big plays from there as well.

Devin Flint - Indiana - ATH: The 5’10 165 lb can score a bunch of different ways. He is an absolute ball player. He is probably a small school kid but definitely one to watch for. He might even be a defensive player. He has the movement skills of a great OLB at the next level and the smarts and playmaking ability.

Antonyo Anderson - Aliquippa - DB: He may be next up in Aliquippa’s long heritage of DBs. He is a long press corner that has good hips and just makes plays all day long. He scored 3 different ways this week and is electric with the ball in his hand. When the ball is in the air theres a great chance he will be the one to come down with it.

Landon ALexander - Central Valley - RB: Landon has what we like to call the two Bs... Burst and Balance. He is good for 5 yards a pop with those two. He is really hard to bring down and seems to always be bouncing off of would be tacklers and getting that crucial yards after contact. He burst through the whole well and has a great stutter step. His speed is average which is his only drawback right now, but he has good vision, is hard to bring down, and catches well out of the backfield.

Machai Brooks - Serra Catholic - RB: He is probably a small-school RB, but he is fun to watch. He is limited with his size and speed but he can be a gadget back. He is elusive and shifty and loves contact. He will earn every yard you give him. He catches the ball well in the passing game and he can play special teams as well. He does have a ceiling and probably wont be an every down back at the next level, but he can definitely help a team.

[player_tooltip player_id="27690" first="Ben" last="Bladel"] - Moon - DT: Very fun to watch play. He filled the stat sheet. He blocked two kicks, had a pair of TFLs, and had a defensive TD on a scoop and score. He does his job and everything else correct. He is a little bit limited to play on the edge but I think he projects best inside. He has good hands is athletic, enough so that they can line him up at FB on O and throw screens to him. He is definitely worth taking a look at.
