While some of the big name prospects have already received plenty of offers by this point of their high school career, we wanted to give three of our favorite underrated TE prospects in Georgia’s 2023 class some attention as well. Check them out below.
Braden Bamburowski Braden Bamburowski 6'3" | 205 lbs | TE Lambert | 2021 GA – 6’3 205 Lambert High
When watching tape on Braden Bamburowski Braden Bamburowski 6'3" | 205 lbs | TE Lambert | 2021 GA , one may not be super impressed at first. As you continue to watch the tape though, you will slowly notice his ability to catch the ball with strong hands. Along with this, perhaps some of his biggest strengths also include his length, and ability to have deceptive speed. This allows him to find ways to get open on routes. Bamburowski also uses his size to his ability when running routes, thus providing himself some separation. While viewers may notice that he may line up at receiver a majority of the time, we certainly project him to be an effective TE for a smaller college program due to his growth potential. Going into next season, and even further, look for Bamburowski to put on weight so he can develop into more of an effective blocker.
Bradley Wilson Bradley Wilson 6'2" | 215 lbs | TE West Laurens | 2021 GA – 6’2 215 West Laurens
While Bradley Wilson Bradley Wilson 6'2" | 215 lbs | TE West Laurens | 2021 GA is committed to Mississippi State as a Pitcher, we still wanted to give him the attention he deserved as a great TE. His height and length are some of the biggest strengths to his game, and with that, comes the ability to have a great catch radius. Some of the catches Wilson shows on tape displays his ability to catch over the shoulder and track the football well with his eyes. With this, WIlson shows the ability to make decent blocks. One of the biggest downsides to Wilson’s game though is his stiff movement. While he is an effective player, it is definitely evident that he is a raw player. Nonetheless, he still manages to be very effective for his team, and can be considered underrated at his position.
Bryson Lofton Bryson Lofton 6'0" | 220 lbs | TE Southwest Whitefield | 2021 GA – 6’0 220 Southwest
Bryson Lofton Bryson Lofton 6'0" | 220 lbs | TE Southwest Whitefield | 2021 GA uses brute force as a dominant tactic during some of his plays on the field. While he is a bit slow, he is an effective TE prospect because he shows flashes of being able to catch the ball cleanly, run decent routes when necessary, and be able to hold his own in terms of blocking. His footwork can be a bit choppy at times, but he shows the ability to develop into an effective small school prospect. Look for Lofton to be able to pick up some small offers this upcoming season.
