Here is the second group of offensive lineman that are still available. This list contains the guys who have the potential of being Group of 5 to D-III players.
[player_tooltip player_id="27482" first="Maisen" last="Bourquin"], Offensive Guard 6’2 280 – Baldwin HS
Junior Season Analysis: Maisen has good size. Looks athletic. Drives feet on contact. He is a physical kid and a finisher. He plays with a lot of effort, does not give up on plays. I am very interested in what Maisen can do this season. He definitely has potential at the FCS level, but I would not be surprised if a group of 5 school takes a chance on him. He does currently hold a couple of D-III offers.
Cameron McLaurin, Offensive Guard 6’2 260 – Montour HS
Junior Season Analysis: Cameron has good size. Athletic. Strong first punch. Physical kid who shows to be a finisher. Cameron is a good player. I am also very interested in how he improves this season. He has a couple of FCS and D-II offers. Looks like he is getting recruited by a group of 5 school, and I would not be surprised if someone takes a chance on him at that level as well.
Jaheim Bassham, Offensive Guard 6’2 270 – Cathedral Prep
Junior Season Analysis: Jaheim looks a little undersized but athletic, moves well. Plays high. Drives feet on contact. He is a finisher. Pass protection is good but still needs improvement. Jaheim is a good player. He has a few FCS offers and D-II offers. I can see him playing at the FCS level.
[player_tooltip player_id="27371" first="John" last="Swisher"], Offensive Guard 6’2 260 – Pine-Richland HS
Junior Season Analysis: John has good size. Athletic enough. Plays high but shows to have good leverage at times. He has a good first punch. Willingly drives feet on contact. Looks good in pass protection. John is a good player. He shows the potential to play at the FCS level. He has no offers.
Aiden Marshall, Offensive Tackle 6’4 260 – Richland HS
Junior Season Analysis: Aiden has good size. Not a great athlete. Shows a soft punch. Drives feet on contact who is a willing blocker. Coming out of pass protection he does show to have slow feet. He does play with good leverage at times. He is not very physical or much of a finisher. According to his Twitter, he has no offers. I think he is a D-II, D-III player.
Connor Schmitt, Offensive Guard 6’2 275 – Upper St. Clair HS
Junior Season Analysis: Connor has good size. Athletic enough. Plays with good leverage. Good first punch. Drives feet on contact. Looks good in pass protection, shows to stay with defenders. I think Connor would be a D-III player. He has no offers.
