To say that the 2020 Jenkins Elite High School Training Camp was a hit would be an understatement. There was no shortage of talented players who came from all over the country to sharpen their skills and compete against one another. The weather was hot and the action was exciting.
Below is a list of defensive backs and running backs who showed excellent promise during the camp.

Ben Finneseth - Durango HS, CO - 2021
The first thing that stands out about this player is his intimidating size. At 6-foot-2 and 190lbs, Finneseth is a physical defender who is unafraid of playing press-man on a slot receiver, as well as stepping into the box and greeting ball carriers with devastating hits like an outside backer. He finished last season with 54 tackles, four forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and three pass breakups. In addition to his defensive skill set, Finneseth is a dangerous wide receiver, totaling 49 receptions for 785 yards and nine touchdowns.

Beto Ledezma - Castle View HS, CO - 2022
Ledezma was an undersized outside linebacker last season but has moved to strong safety this season. His man coverage skills are solid, and his ability to cover open field is almost instinctual. The 5-foot-10, 170lbs DB is explosive when coming out of his backpedal, and he seems to sense the receiver’s break a step before it’s made. He’s a tenacious player with a fearless attitude, which makes for a perfect addition for defending the box. Ledezma finished last season with 56 tackles, four QB hurries, one sack, and an interception.
Johnny Bellino - American Leadership Academy-Gilbert North, AZ - 2022
Bellino made the trip up from Arizona for an opportunity to showcase his talent. During 1-on-1’s, he showed his impressive skills as a receiver and corner. The 5-foot-11, 170lbs player has a methodical press-man technique that is enhanced by his patience. His quick feet enable him to effectively jam a little later than others, while his eye discipline gives him the ability to shoot his hands late to break up a pass. As a receiver, Bellino caught 19 passes for 179 yards and one touchdown last season.

Running Backs:
Jeramiah Craft - Colorado - 2024
Craft is an extremely talented young running back who will be entering his freshman year of high school this fall. Being younger than the majority of the other running backs did not stop him from turning heads at the camp. Craft may come from a prestigious football lineage, but this young player is poised to create his own legacy.
Aamani Anderson - Dobson HS, AZ - 2021
Anderson is a speedy running back with great vision. The 5-foot-5, 155lbs player has excellent footwork with strong hands. His jump-cut ability is fantastic, and his acceleration is next level. It makes him especially dangerous when bouncing a run to the outside.
Logan Cole - Hot Springs County HS, WY - 2021
Cole is a true 3-down back who is a difficult runner to bring down, all due to his size and strength. At 5-foot-11 and 200lbs, he is more of a one-cut back that will run through contact, but he also possesses the speed to outrun defenders.
Cole Griffin - Rocky Mountain HS, CO - 2022
Griffin is a 6’0, 185lbs running back who moves like a scat-back with serious lead-blocking power. He’s quick coming out of the backfield, and possesses the speed and catching ability to make him a serious threat when running routes. Griffin finished his sophomore season with 18 carries for 132 yards and one touchdown.
