Parker Wolfe (Effingham HS)- Solid height and weight, athletic, proportioned with some definition. He has the ability to be consistent in Off and Bail. Good footwork off the snap in order to stay square to the WR. In Bail, solid foot quickness through stem and to the top of the break. Shows solid foot quickness and acceleration within both coverages, when coming out of break in order to establish good positioning. Very good ball skills, gets head around and can locate the ball in the air without drifting or losing positioning. Good hands, can snatch the ball, and has good transition in order to be effective after the turnover. He lacks physicality to be a reliable Press corner, and his height will limit his ability on the outside, restricting him to a Nickel/Slot CB at the next level. Within his backpedal he would get high after the first 5-8 yds. Overall, he is a solid player, who would be at his best in a Zone heavy scheme, in order to allow him to see the football right away and use his ball skills to go get it.
Quinn Miller (Richland County HS)- Solid height and weight, slender, athletic, proportioned with some definition. Shows the ability to play Zone and Off with consistency. Solid processing and anticipation off snap to read underneath routes, and shows good transition to the ball. Good awareness to see routes and WRs entering Zones and drop coverage to be disruptive at the catch point. Shows good hands, can go and get the football when it’s in the air. Good body control in the open field to settle and make the tackle. He is also a willing run supporter. Displays solid tackling technique on the edge, takes away ball carrier’s outside shoulder forcing the ball inside, and then wrapping legs. He is a one speed guy that will impact his ability to stick in tight Man coverage down the field. Overall, a solid player who will need a Zone scheme in order to be effective at the next level.
Londyn Little (Columbia HS)- Adequate height and weight, slender, trim, porportioned with some definition. An athletic CB who has the ability to succeed within any coverage, due to his footwork, COD, acceleration, and foot quickness. In Man, can mirror WR with just footwork, and has solid locating ability. Shows good foot quickness and COD in order the be successful with Zone or Off coverage. Good hands, can turn the ball over and has good transition in order to be effective after the interception. Overall, he is used more as an offensive player, but has the ability to split out and cover WR, along with a nose for the football with 4 INTs in 2019.
