Meet Audric Estime, the No. 1 Running Back in New Jersey

St. Joe’s Montvale running back [player_tooltip player_id="27865" first="Audric" last="Estime"] is more than just a running back. He is an absolute freak of an athlete and a leader on the field and in the locker room. First, let’s take a look at some numbers to prove this point.
As a junior, Estime rushed for 1,190 yards and 15 touchdowns. He went for 100 yards six times including 261 yards and three touchdowns against Seton Hall Prep. In the first game of the season, Estime went for 126 yards and a touchdown. The following week, he torched Cardinal Hayes (NY) for 120 yards and three touchdowns on just seven carries. He added another three touchdown game against DePaul in Week 3.
The attraction to Estime comes immediately when looking at his size. At 6’1, Estime is a tall back with incredible strength that is used to break tackles and dominate at the line. Paired with his size, Estime has great break away speed. He is a workhorse that can use his size and strength to take over games.
When watching Estime on the field, the first name that comes to mind is Adrian Peterson. Estime has the ability to be a one cut runner. He plants his foot in the ground and can stop on a dime before taking off at full speed. Estiem is a downhill runner that gains momentum as he goes.
Estime is the top running back in New Jersey. He has plenty of schools after him including hometown Rutgers, but Virginia Tech could be the eventual landing spot. The Hokies have made sure to be in touch with the dynamic back. At the moment, Virginia Tech is battling with Rutgers, Michigan State, and Arizona State in pursuit of Estime. St. Joe’s Montvale is a powerhouse in New Jersey that is always in the national light. This will enhance with Estime entering his final season.
