Quarterbacks
Reed Braundmeier (Mater Dei HS)- Good height and weight with a developed frame. Good footwork both throughout and once at the top of his drop. Very good pocket presence, can settle body and square shoulders when pocket is clean, while also displaying great instincts to elude when pocket collapses. Very good mental processing to get to his second read within his progressions. Good release, quick and tight with a clean delivery. Good arm and core strength to drive the ball into traffic in all areas of the field. Good accuracy and touch in order to get the ball up and over defenders, while delivering a catchable football. He maintains arm strength and accuracy when getting outside the pocket and throwing off platform. Overall, a very good player who will see big production in his senior season.
Conor McCormick (Williamsville HS)- Solid height with good weight and sturdy frame. A dual threat quarterback, who has the ability to make plays with his feet, but his best ability comes inside the pocket. Good footwork and body control in the pocket. Showed very good ability to align feet and shoulders to each read in his progression. Very good mental processing, was able to read the whole field. Possesses the ability to get from the near side all the way to the far side with good timing and in rhythm. Good pocket presence, can slide and move to elude pressure while keeping eyes down the field. Very good release, tight, quick, and the ball comes out clean. Possesses the ability to work all areas of the field with good arm strength and accuracy. Good hip and core torque allow him to fit the ball into tight windows, while also displaying good ball placement. At 6’1, some schools may overlook him, but McCormick has all the tools to be a very productive QB at the next level.
Matt Martin (Eureka HS)- Adequate height and weight with a slender frame. A dual threat, three year varsity starter, who likes to get out of the pocket. Displays good footwork to square feet and body within the pocket. Good pocket presence to feel pressure. Shows very good escapability, and mental processing to keep eyes downfield and continue to diagnose what’s in front of him. Solid arm strength and accuracy, allow him to work all areas of the field with good zip and ball placement. He will need polishing as a passer to develop eyes and processing at the next level, as he continues to develop getting from one read to the next and limiting risks with the football. Overall, he has a lot of potential and if he can fine tune some of the technical aspects he can be a very good player at the next level.
Running Backs
Ronde Worrels (Canton HS)- Good height and weight with a sturdy frame. Solid burst and first step quickness off the snap. A straight line runner who likes to hit the hole quickly. Solid vision to read and set up blocks. Good strength at the POA, and consistently runs through arm tackles. Very good leg drive on contact, and shows the ability to finish and fall forward. Possesses good speed to break big runs once into the second and third levels of the defense. He is a hard nosed football player with four seasons of varsity experience, who is a reliable ball carrier and has the potential to be a three down back.
Hunter Gladson (Eureka HS)- Good height and weight with sturdy frame. A multidimensional RB, who possesses the ability to not only be effective within the run and pass games, but also in pass pro. Good burst and acceleration to hit the hole quickly. A straight line runner, who runs behind pads and will finish runs with leg drive and upper body strength. Shows solid hands in the passing game, and has good catch to run transition. He maintains his physical running style in the openfield. Good pass pro ability, willing to throw body around. He shows a good initial punch and will move feet to stick. Overall, a solid football player who can contribute in multiple areas of the game. He isn’t going to be a big play threat in the run game, but is a consistent contributor in short yardage situations.
Wide Receivers
Kamden Wollard (Illinois Valley Central HS)- Good height, weight, and overall frame. Uses a combination of upper body strength, arm length, and foot quickness to get a clean release vs. Press. Possesses solid speed to eat up cushion vs. Off. Solid at the top of routes to create separation coming out of break. Hands catcher, and shows the ability to track and high point. He’s a big bodied physical WR who will compete and win in contested situations. He has room to grow and develop as a route runner, but has the tools to do so quickly.
Aden Sears (Eureka HS)- Good height with solid frame. Possesses good speed/quickness that allow him free releases vs. Press, and the ability to make up cushion vs. Off. Maintains speed into stem and to the top of route, creating separation out of break. Very good tracking ability and can contort/high point. Multidimensional player who can line up in the slot or at the numbers and win. He is a consistent big play threat, each time he touches the ball.
Tight End-Hybrid
Noah Sanders (Williamsville HS)- Good height, weight, and overall frame. Size and strength allow clean release vs. Press, while having enough speed to create separation vs. Off. Solid transition at top of routes to create separation coming out of break. Hands catcher, strong hands to possess the ball through contact. Room to grow as a route runner, has versatility at the next level as he could add weight and transition to TE.
