Tyler Hendricker (Peotone HS)- Good height and solid weight, slender, trim, proportioned with some definition. Solid explosion off the snap, coupled with solid UOH and leverage allows him to hold ground at the LOS. Displays the ability to continue to work hands throughout the play to disengage. Good closing burst once disengaged to chase play to the near or far side. Has numbers to numbers range vs. the run. Vs. Pass, solid rush ability, strictly a Bull Rusher, who has solid finishing ability once breaking the LOS. He shows very good mental toughness and tackling ability within his game, consistently willing to pursue plays and has good technique when breaking down and wrapping legs. Overall, at this point he is best as a 4-3 run stopping DE. He possesses the traits and size to develop his rush skills. If he can add a pass rush move, and work on UOH and feet within his rushes, he will be a very good prospect.
Connor Murphy Connor Murphy 6'3" | 230 lbs | DL Glenbard South | 2022 State IL (Glenbard South HS)- Good height and weight, athletic, trim, proportioned with definition. Good get off and processing ability off the snap in order to trust eyes and identify run/pass. Vs. Run, very good ability to play against Man or Zone schemes. Vs. Man, shows good play strength and UOH at the POA in order to hold ground, while also being able to disengage and get to the ball. Vs. Zone, displays good lateral agility and acceleration to beat OL across their faces, and be able to scrap from the backside or nearside. Shows good body control against both, as he is able to settle and square body to the ball carrier, in order to make the tackle. Vs. Pass, maintains good get off with solid UOH. He’s able to disengage quickly, after working a Bull Rush. Good closing burst and finishing ability when getting to the QB, sure handed tackler. He lacks an arsenal of pass rush moves, but has the ability to acquire more. Overall, a good prospect, who has the potential to continue growing and developing.
Antonio Richardson (IC Catholic Prep HS)- Good height and solid weight, slender, trim, proportioned with some definition. Good burst off snap, and quick processing ability. Vs. Pass can beat T with speed to the outside or inside, along with showing some lower half strength in order to create some penetration. Good UOH in order to keep OL from locking onto his chest. Very good foot quickness, lateral bend, and closing burst to the QB, shows the ability to finish. Also displays the awareness to get his hands up when he can’t get off blocks or isn’t going to get home. Solid run defender, will be best defending the outside zone until he develops his body and adds more weight to hole ground vs. Man. Overall, a very good prospect who has a lot of promise as an OLB or DE at the next level.
