Zykir Best Zykir Best 5'10" | 170 lbs | LB Shabazz | 2027 NJ put together an impressive postseason and emerged as one of Shabazz’s most reliable defenders. Throughout the playoff run, he showcased his size, instincts, and physicality at linebacker, consistently impacting plays near the line of scrimmage.

Best excelled at fighting through blocks, using strong hands to shed linemen and finish one-on-one tackles in space. Shabazz trusted him as a blitzer, and he repeatedly delivered, disrupting drives and forcing offenses off schedule. He also flashed in coverage, showing the range and awareness to handle multiple responsibilities.

The biggest hurdle for Best has been exposure, not ability. With his complete skill set and consistent production, he fits the mold of a linebacker who can help a Division I program.
