Expert Analysis
Matt Morrow | Prep Redzone Scout
Becoming the main offensive threat for a team that doesn’t win a lot can mean a lot of tough Friday Nights, but Zykerion did an excellent job for the Wildcats this season. He rushed for nearly 900 yards and 10 touchdowns despite the defense coming for him nearly every play the Wildcats ran on offense. When he got space, Pharr showed excellent speed in the open field and nice vision to set up and cut off of his blocks in the running game. With another year of offseason development, Pharr should have his chance to become a 1000-yard rusher next season with the amount of touches he should get.

The Wildcats offensive success this season has largely been on the back of Pharr, and they gave him every opportunity to lead them once again in this one. Pharr didn’t have a lot of room to operate as the Hawks game plan was obvious – to swarm the running game at all costs. The couple of times Pharr was able to get loose, he showed some nice agility and wiggle with the football in his hands. Most notably, a play where he made a cut to the outside and a stiff arm was definitely highlight worthy. The talent is absolutely there with this young man.

Garinger has had a rough go of things in recent seasons, but got into the win column early in 2025, largely thanks to Pharr. He has a great feel for finding open grass, whether that’s laterally to create space or up the front to get an extra few yards. The power will come, as the pad level and vision are excellent already.
